My BMW M3 Competition 6 MT Tanzanite Blue Metallic

Dear all,

I gave my M2 (here) back to the dealer last Friday.

As a successor I received one of the last M3's in Germany (due to coming emission regulations the M3 cannot be ordered any more in Germany). The car has the Competition package and comes in Tanzanite Blue Metallic. What a gorgeous color, it looks so different in certain light conditions! I hope you can imagine it in the photos.

I decided to stick to my strategy and ordered the 6MT version...what else! I also decided to have the MPE directly mounted at the dealer before delivery. This was clearly no mistake...

Until it has been seen in person, Tanz blue is hard to appreciate. These pictures capture the effect better than most. Thanks!

Congrats! Great choice, love all the metallic flake in Tanz and how changeable it is depending on light. Literally had people say looks like different car. Very good pics, but have to see in person for full effect.

Post vid of MPE when you have a chance. I have MPPSK, great sound with valves open.

Once I am finished with the run-in, I will create a video.

What I found out through the decision process "MPE or not" was, that in every MPE video they only show it in Sport/Sport+ and full throttle. What I miss is a video in efficient mode and from the inside, just to get the idea how it sounds in daily driving.

I also deactivated ASD as a first step after I was home from the dealer. It is so much better now and the car is quiet if I want it quiet and loud if I floor it.

Yeah, not many interior POV. MPPSK pretty mellow in Comfort, never tried ECO mode.
