Hi Ladies & Germs & everyone in between,

I am getting the feelers out on my 2016 F80 Comp DCT.

Individual Fashion Grey over Sahkir Orange Interior. As most of you know Fashion Grey is actually a Porsche PTS Color also known as “modegrau”.

Original Sticker $86,295 - Fashion Grey was a $5000 option apparently.

- Competition Package (666Ms, black grills/trim, etc)
- Executive Package (HUD, window shades, etc)
- Extended Merino Leather (Leather literally everywhere)
- Lighting Package (adaptive LEDs)

NO DRIVERS ASSISTANCE !!! NO ANNOYING BEEPS OR LITTLE TRIANGLES ON THE MIRRORS

Current ODO: 65,341
- May go up very slightly depending how long it takes to sell. This is not my daily driver so it doesn’t get very many miles put on it anymore.

Pros:

Spec - I think the color speaks for itself but let me tell you, I have never received more compliments, comments, questions, anything on a car like I do when I drive this. I included quite a few photos in various locations so you can see how unique this color looks in different lighting.

Rarity - According to the BMW MRegistry Data there are only 59 M3s in Fashion Grey. 20 of those were part of the “Velocity Pack” which only came with black interior and black 666Ms. I have never seen, online or in person, another Fashion Grey with with Sahkir Orange interior and I think the combo works beautifully.

Maintenance - I bought this car CPO from Irvine BMW in July of 2017. Fresh off a lease return. The car was under warranty and had every service done with Irvine BMW until July of 2021. Since then I have had it serviced at Speedlogic in Westminster. Any BMW owners in Socal will tell you is a great shop for M Cars. They are cool guys and they loved my car so much they actually made a video of it. I have a booklet of all records, of course.

Mods - car is mechanically bone stock. I have never tuned the car or added any mechanical mods. It is lowered on eMotion Design springs and is currently running 15mm spacers all the way around. Fitment is perfect. I also have paint matched reflectors that I paid waayyyy too much to have professionally paint matched because IND’s idea of Fashion Grey was way off lol. Currently has an Exotics Style CF Diffuser & M Performance style exhaust tips. I have kept and will include all stock parts with sale.

Cons:

Mileage - for a 2016, the mileage is on par with everything on the market right now but I understand everybody wants to buy super low mileage examples. However, the M3 is known around the world as the coolest daily driver and when it looks this good, you can’t resist getting it out on the road!

Carfax - I want to make sure everyone looking at this post reads this and understands before contacting. This car has never been in accident or collision. Unfortunately, one day while on the 405 coming home from work, a Prius (of course) ran over a large piece of plastic in the road and it flew up and hit the hood and windshield of my car. The hood was dented and had to be repainted/blended. The work was done at Deshler’s in Orange. Please look them up, they do amazing work. However, since I went through insurance, it now shows as “minor damage” on the Carfax. In hindsight, if I would have known that was going to happen, I would have paid out of pocket. However, I do think it is a blessing because buyer’s should always be aware whenever paint and/or bodywork has been touched on a car. I have all paperwork for the incident and the paint actually comes with a lifetime warranty.

All in all, this car has been a dream to own and I want it to go to a good home. I have included some pictures below and can send many more if anyone is interested. Please forgive me if some of the photos are a little shotty, I am currently at home with a broken hand so I had to pull from my camera roll.

Please look at what 2016 M3s in the mileage tier are selling for. This is not a garage queen but is extremely rare. Not asking for the world, just a fair price for a great car!

Mine is a 2017 with similar equipment and mileage, and I'm asking $52,500 if that helps. Biggest difference seems to be mine has the carbon fiber trim pieces and clean Carfax.

The first sentence says it's a feeler post so I figured I would let the market dictate what a fair price would be and see what offers I got.

That's actually above what I was expecting so I think we're in the same ballpark of what's fair.

Looking for mid-high 40s which I think is reasonable considering $50k seems to be the bottom for a 2016 M3 right now with same mileage, no options, and bland spec.

To the guy with the 52K for 2017... Back a year ago 2018 comps were going for low 50s with warranty.... Obviously different times but yeah.
