Interesting I never had that problem at 6'7" 260 I figured the coupe would be worse in all cases.

I did try to buy an PHEV Jeep Rubicon the other day and my head was touching the sports bar tho. I would pretty much die in any impact.

Jeeze no way, Coupe has massive doors for easy entry.

Deal didn’t work, the car had two reported accidents. Hell no.

Will keep my eyes out though!

Which is why I kinda went overboard on it actually but I don't really regret it. As, you drive the car on the inside, not outside. Having a good looking interior matters a lot to me, especially if I am going to keep it.

The only major performance thing I had to consider was obviously the LWBS and 6MT vs PDK-S. I mentioned in my post that while I can handle the buckets easily due to how thin I am, I do not like being forced into a sitting position that restricts my movement in the seat. I tried to go 2-way but my dealership kinda shoehorned me into 18-way instead. The two big ones was I was firm on PCCB and PDK-S.

That is honestly it. I thought of asking for PTS but when I knew how expensive that was, with PDK, PCCB, LED + PTS would have already pushed me past 145k. I couldn't do it so I didn't and went with Chalk.
I’m with you on the interior accoutrements. Mine has leather and deviated stitching everything.

So from your sig, you’ll have two Chalk cars and one Grigio Medio. Looks like you have a type

Definitely! I likely would've jumped on one of them. They were both very clean.

What do you guys think of this C8?
the rear end design is cheap and ugly in my opinion. also that wall in the cabin is nasty

I did deviated stitching as well, along with a few other stuff. Think it added close to 10k alone.

Sadly I have to sell my M3. I have no room for her. I tried to figure out a way but I couldn't.

Don't vettes come with a 6 beers in setting of some sort?

Love listening to the dct upshifts under gradual acceleration on the C8's. NA V8 + snapping upshifts at lower rpms. Unmistakable high performance sounds very similar to E9X.

Have appreciated your G82 ownership updates. You should try to get behind the wheel of an F82 CS and see how it stacks up. Around 30 on the market right now and dropping into the 60's list.

Vehicle tracking is fun and infuriating in equal measures. I definitely go down a rabbit hole whenever something is incoming. When i was waiting for my 981 GT4, i just happened to find a reddit thread on a Porsche car transporter crash that killed 5 GT4's on the exact day my car was supposed to be in transit to the port. I was convinced that my car was dead, but thankfully not.

Once Porsche loads the car on the boat, there's the fun part of tracking the boat itself.

In my own GT4 news, i took it for its annual service to the dealer and found a 981 GT4 for sale for $103k. Same color, almost same options (mine has more interior options and LWB, this one had sofas), but 3k less miles than mine. Prices are crazy.

That makes two of us. My original budget was around $135k, but all of the interior treatments plus the Exclusive Design tail lights pushed my build up to $142k. Like you, I don't regret spending the extra to make the interior feel premium.

More like climbing into the 80s... the F8x CS is a buy at 65 or less but I wouldn't pay 80+ for one. I tried to buy a lease return M3 CS with 5k miles from my local dealer for 72 but they sold it to an insider before I had a chance.

I was curious and added up what I counted as "interior" and it was easily above 10k (it was way above 10k lol). Definitely annoyed about needing to add Apple Carplay but... >.>

I know the irony of me liking flat Grey colors because I don't like White/Black colored cars. Just yesterday on the way home, I saw an new Ferrari, I believe it is an F8 (I'm not too sure on my Ferrari lol) and it was in black. The only thing I can think of was, you spend.... 300k+ on a Ferrari and you get... BLACK? What a freaken waste. Even at night I can tell the car needed paint correction.

+1

If I'm going true exotic, white and black aren't even considerations.

Eh, a lot of Ferraris look horrid in bright, resale colours. The Mac 720S looks best in all black, too, and with no carbonara. Gotta hide some of its design elements, like, uh, weknowhat. And with a conservative exterior, you can go nuts with the inside trim.

Not sure what you mean. 30 CS on cars.com as of this a.m., most in the range of 67-80k, and numerous listings with recent price drops.

It's one of the few cars on the current market to be following a somewhat typical depreciation curve. Price relationship to base and comps now reasonable.

Easy buy in this range for the best performing street + track, all-round M3/M4 to hit U.S. shores before design meltdown.

I don't know if its just me. But I cannot tell the difference between any of the McLaren's. Although I probably haven't paid attention enough to the brand since I'll never own one

You're not wrong. I mean, I don't give much of a damn about any supercar these days... but, the 720S is the only model I've got interest in.

They had the Artura and the windshield-less Elva with the windshield at FOS. Spent about 20 seconds on those and moved on. The P1 was there, too, and that thing stood out. Very nice design from Frank Stephenson.

They wanted money from people wanting to get photographed in the Elva. Lmfao. And it was apparently some MSO edition and I have to say, it looked like a shit wrap.
