New to me M4

Hi folks,

I just traded my 2015 435i (which I loved) for a 2019 M4. I’ve missed driving a manual transmission and couldn’t see myself driving an unsightly new M4.
Anyway, I’m loving it so far. Definitely a different machine than the 435.

It has 15500 miles and the oil and brake fluid have recently been replaced. I plan to change the transmission fluid and differential fluid myself because I have no indication it’s ever been done. Anything else that I should concern myself with right away?

The tires are original Michelin PS super sport. How many miles are folks averaging on these?

Thanks for the help.

Congrats, you don't need a transmission service tell at least 50k, and also if the car had a break in service, I won't worry about the diff either tell at least 30k. Enjoy the car and welcome.

Not to my knowledge. The only things that show in the service history are oil changes and the recent brake fluid change.

I personally would not wait until 100k to do the transmission fluid on a 6MT car - I did mine at 30k and intend to do it at 30k intervals. There have been several discussions about longer intervals for DCT cars (50k+), which the OP does not have.

That said, I doubt one would suffer catastrophic transmission failure if you went longer than a 30k interval. But fresher fluids will always be healthy for the car and the procedure to change out the transmission fluid on a 6MT car is a ridiculously easy DIY.

The rear PSS last about 7k miles. The fronts last much longer. Or at least that's what I get out of a rear set with the DCT. May differ with a manual,

Big upgrade figured I'd go all in lol. Never got into the m340i, actually liked the looks of the f30 better. Couldn't pass up on an allocation at msrp for the m4

Beautiful combo, jealous.
