BSM/SO 6speed w/MPE in Bellevue?

Anyone know this car or anything about it? It's a 2017 F80 with MPE and other mods for sale in Bellevue. Very cool spec, but wondering about mod history.

Any help appreciated.

Funny enough I've been checking frequently in this section to see if anyone would ask. I'm the previous owner of this vehicle. Leased it new in November of 2016 and traded it in to Audi Bellevue on April 3rd to pick up a 18 TT RS. It is fully loaded with the Competition Package, including the M Performance Package and M Performance Shift knob which is how the car came built. The only "mods" are a clutch stop and the Active Sound has been disabled by pulling the cable from the amp in the trunk. The car's never been tracked and well maintained. I've had no issues with it. This is actually my first post but I've visited the site almost daily so I wanted to say thanks to everyone for contributing to such an awesome enthusiast site. I also have a set of the OEM winter wheels and tires from BMW from this car that will be for sale in the fall. Whoever purchases this car is getting a heck of a deal as I basically paid all the depreciation. LOL.

That’s pretty cool to see your own car up for sale / go to a different owner like that. I sold my car to BMW Seattle and it seemed like there was a buyer lined up for it.

Type M,

Thank you for your reply. It is so useful to get background information on a car like this directly from the past owner. I was deep into the deal to buy another M3, which looked perfect and was in a configuration that I LOVED (!), when the PPI came back with all sorts of major issues. Thus my question about your car.

It has to be one of the most highly configured M3's out there and it looks great. How did you like the MPE?

Finally, I agree with your comments about this community. Similar to you, I haven't posted much, but I read the board virtually every day and I have learned a ton. I am sure there are many, many more like us who read without posting.

Thanks again.

JW4488,

To be fair, I haven't heard the stock exhaust on a Comp Pack M3. Prior to the M3, I had a non Comp Pack M4 and between those two, the MPE sounded so much better. I will admit, if I still had the car, I'd probably plug the cable back into the amp to enable Active Sound again. The crackles and pops are loud and sound good in both Sport and Sport+. Through this forum I learned that a lot of the MPE's crack at the muffler. I do admit I did not check for that but I'm guessing Audi Bellevue would have as they did their checks before placing the car for sale. Either way, should still be covered under warranty. This car should come with the original window sticker, both sets of keys and all manuals for which I provided. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Type M,

Is your TT RS grey? If so i think i work across the street from you and used to drive by your M3 everyday (in my black F80). I noticed a week or two ago that the M3 was replaced with the TT RS (you park in the same spot everyday, noticed the new car sticker). Sweet looking ride!

Thank You! That is indeed me. I wish I would have bumped into you, but although I never saw you, I'd hear stories from my coworkers who must have seen you as they'd tell me someone has the exact same car as me. LOL

How are you liking the TTRS? My wife and I bought a B9 S4 for her and I saw the TTRS in the showroom and fell in love....but I felt it may be a bit too small since we want to start a family soon. I ended up purchasing my 16 M3 instead.

Test drove it this past weekend. If it's still there next week and the numbers are right, I will pull the trigger. Loved the car.

I think this is a great deal at the current price of $64.7k. It was not a bad deal at the original price of $68k, but now...

Great spec. Manual. All the M-Performance stuff. Appears well taken care of. Go for it. Cars like these are hard to find.

This car was sold the day before I was going to buy it. Let's just say I was a tad upset.

Bummer. It is hard to get a deal AND get the exact car you want without a long, long wait - unless you buy new, I guess. When I got mine, I finally had to step up my offer just to make it happen. The right car just doesn't come up often, and when it does, go after it!

So, there's my biased unsolicited advice for you.

I drove that car. Was interested but not sure about the rough idle. After some searching found out it was the intakes. Its a mean car for sure. Congrats, i would have loved to pick it up. Funny thing, on the test drive, a random lady looked at it and goes "ooh, pretty."
