HR 35mm springs.
I had these on my M4 for 14mts over 12,000mls car looks great but shocks have taken a battering and of course the ride well let’s say not as it was when I first lowered it. My misses is now thinking of driving the car and I don’t want her driving it like that. Was thinking of getting coilovers but since the new M3/4 are only 2yrs away don’t want to spend money on coilovers. Has anyone gone for a less drop lowered spring or gone back to stock.

But if you want to go back to standard & don't have your original springs, drop me a line. I've the full standard (Comp Pack) spring set that came off mine within weeks of buying it, so they're pretty much as new, wouldn't want much for them...

i had H&R Sports on my last M4. really low, clipped humps every day and handles a bit naff if im homest. rear was always really bouncy.
New Comp pack M4 has Eibach pro kit and its so much better. no clipping humps (and i do have the MP lip), ride is obviously firmer to OEM - similar to H&R. Handling is so much better, the rear now no longer feels unsettled when in beast mode. ive had both cars on track and the difference is even more noticeable - Eibach pro kit is sooo much better to live with.

Has anyone after using 35mm H&R for over 12,000 mls found that the shocks had to be replaced or were they ok and you were able to fit a less dropped springs set and the ride was ok shocks ok. Reason I ask because I feel my shocks maybe shot!

I might have a set for sale if you're needing them. I've now put coilovers on.

Am going to put back stock springs and get the shocks checked and take it from there, car is still under warranty so see how it goes. What’s going on with Bilstiens and their b16 damptronics!

Well I removed the H&R and put back the stock springs, to my surprise the shocks are ok so it shows how crap the H&R are after 12,000 mls. Enjoying the stock ride at the moment but the car look like a land rover with the wheel gaps.
