18x10.5 18x11 stagger track set up questions

A local F80 M3 owner reached out, and I don’t know the answers, hoping someone with experience on this can help.

Apex VS5RS 18x10.5 et22 fronts, 18x11 et44 rears

He is going 18’s instead of 19’s because of greater choice in slicks sizes for track, these are for track use only.

Car features:
StopTech Trophy brakes / calipers front and rear
MCS remote damper set with 2.25” main and helper springs
Ground Control camber plates

He is looking to run 295-305 front Pirelli slicks and 305-315 rears….

Any experiences close to this that can state it will work?

A popular setup for members that routinely track their cars is: 295/30-18 square tires mounted on 10.5et36 F with 15 mm spacer and 10.5et36 R (no spacer). Basically, a square tire and square wheel setup.

305 on the F requires more changes to suspension arms and camber plates/upper strut interface. Search for BimmerWorld GTmore MCS front strut eye mount.

305, and most 315, will work on the rear with an 11et44 (ideal tire width is 305 for 11” wide wheel, offset ~40-44 mm) but a 315 is better supported by an 11.5” wide wheel with an offset of ~42-47 mm. Depending on the actual width of a 315 tire and the wheel width-offset, interference with the fuel filler neck may be a concern.

Not sure the trophy kit will fit in a 18". I run 18" 10.5et 22 (with 5mm spacer) and 11" et44 with 295/30 and 305/645. You have to run 3.2+ camber and smaller springs. I have 5" 2.25 springs on the front.
