looks good, what did you trim
Foam along the edges just helped it to fit more flush.

General question, anyone get a break lamp malfunction? Should I have not trimmed the resistor wires?

Shoot, I trimmed off the black extended wires because I thought I didn't need them... probably should have made sure before I started snipping...

Also the reason I snipped is because everything worked. Only got the error after driving with lights on for about 15 minutes?

Just ordered mine from Bayotiks. Is this a pretty straight forward DIY?

Anyone with pre-LCI run into any problems?

RE: BayOptiks OLED Tail lights and Rear Fog Light

I have a F30 340i. Do these tail lights have the rear fog lights?

This is just 2 quick things I wanted to point help while installing bayoptiks aka v2s
They might be no brainers to most of you on here but just a few things I had questions on and it might help a few of you out while installing. Other then that my v2 install was a breeze it took me about 30 minutes and fitment is damn near perfect.

I have a 2018 LCI F80 m3. With the Bayoptiks, is it hard to install? Is it plug and play or do we need to adjust the wiring?

Nope same install for both. There's actually 2 plugs labeled each with whatever year your car is and you just plug into the respective plug and tuck the other one. Very simple.

I'll probably order one from Bayoptiks as well, but do you know if the rear Fog lights works? Thanks for the tips!

Haven't tried! But no flickering with reverse lights like I've been seeing

Thanks for the info on the install. I have a 2015 F80 as well so your install is perfect. Might have to pickup a set of the Bayoptiks or wait for the Solas in spring. Decisions Decisions.

Just curious are all the V2's basically the same? Only reason I ask is because on some of these pics the outside edges look more blacked out. Almost like shadow line vs regular lci's. Or maybe it's just the editing...

These are all the same. From what I'm told they are all made by Vland. (Company who manufactures them)

Thumbs up Beautiful light for the price and fitment.

Got mine from Aliexpress for $420 and the fitment was perfect - no extra gap spacing, no bulging. The finish is 9/10. This is a V2.
The install was easy.

Few things I want to share:

I snipped the guide pin (on one side only - out of 4) on the outer one to allow space for the cable to run.

Just noticed a bunch of spelling errors. Excuse me. English is ESOL to me and it is still too early in the morning

P.S:
I got a few private messages so just want to clarify here.
I paid $420. After shipping and tax, it was $515 shipped.
Ordered on the 8th, got it in the U.S on the 16th.
EMS at the China, but hand over to USPS once it got to the U.S.
Due to forum policy, I won't post direct link to the item. You can search for it easily though.

Fixed all the images. Thanks for letting me know through PM.

There's always the GTS lights. Really expensive but it's a option.
