315/30r19 on 19x10 et42?

Wondering if anyone has any input regarding this. Yes, I know that 315/30r19 is supposed to go on a 10.5.
I've seen people run 19x11et44 with 315/30r19 with no problems, I also have a 12mm spacer if required for fitment. Just want to make sure there isnt any mandatory camber requirements, and that I will be able to run this on my KW DDC setup that I am installing in 2 weeks.

Input is greatly appreciated! I'm going to be running 275/35r19 in the front, so I'm trying to keep DSC as close to happy as I can. I've thought about 295/35r19 in the rear but 275/35 and 315/30 is pretty much 1:1 in terms of revolutions, so Im thinking this will be ok.

I previously ran 295/30r20 on 20x11et44, so I know that the wheel itself will physically clear the strut with no spacer, and will clear the wheel well with the 12mm spacer if I so choose to install it (20x11et44 is ~14mm closer to strut components and 11mm closer to fender). My biggest thing is the increase in tire tread width. (11.9in to 12.4in)

I have also seen a 325/30r19 fit on a 19x11.5et44. This (wheel wise), in comparison to the 315/30 on 19x10et42, is 21mm closer to suspension components and 17mm closer to the fender. Tire wise, the wheelsize website is saying that the 325 is 7mm closer to suspension and sticks out 3mm more. After seeing this, I am pretty confident that this tire will fit but would like someone elses opinion.

Thanks!

why? for example for a 315/30/19 michelin ps4s the recommended wheel width is 10.5 to 11.5". tirerack lists the treadwidth for that size at 11.7", which ideally goes on a 12" wheel. you're likely paying more money for no performance benefits. 275/35/19 for the front is a bit tall.

unless you're trying to do some sort of drag racing set up, for which i have no input.

It's mainly for roll racing. I spun from 40/60mph on the 295 and Im trying to get more traction. Mainly just trying to find someone that has ran it or something close.

19x10 should be too small for 315

I was on 295/30 with 19x10.5 for the front.
315/30 need 11" width.

Try 285/35, you'll likely be surprised by the grip.

The "recommended minimum" per Michelin is 10.5". I'm moreso wondering if pushing it half an inch is really that big of a deal. I don't think it is, I just want to make sure the tires will fit and not rub due to the offset

At 500-550 wheel depending on the map, I know that it won't. I've ran 275/35 re71r's, 285/30r20 PSS, and 295/30r20 ps4s. It's either I get 295/35 cup 2's, or 315/30 ps4s.

Just to update this thread, I ended up getting 305/30r19 Cup 2's! These bad boys are huge and I grip from 30mph when the tires are hot. There is some 'roundness' on the tire sidewalls, but I think that's in part due to the lack of "sidewall protection" on Cup 2 tires (per the tire shop at least). My friends F90 has r888r's and they have a similar roundness to them.

For anyone curious to run these on stock fitment, they will work! The offset of this wheel is 19x10 et42, while 437's are 19x10et40.

I'm sorry my friend, but even visually it looks like those tyres are waaayy to wide for those rims.

Visually it does look like that a little bit, yes. But compare it to a tire like the r888r, it has the same pronouncement of the treadline.

There are also some 305 tires that have an approved manufacturer range that includes a 10" wheel.

At the end of the day, I spent $1000 on the rear tires so they're going to run their course. I don't have any sidewall rolling, traction laterally and straight is phenomenal, so I have no complaints.

Thanks for sharing your experience with this tire fitment. I’m planning to try 305/35-19 NT555RI on my rears when the current wear down.

No problem! Keep in mind that 305/35 is a very tall tire for F8x, and will absolutely throw off your DSC. You can't run a tall enough tire in the front to match the rotation, it WILL rub. I would say you're better off running a R888r (or cup 2 like me &#128513. I was able to get the N0 spec cup 2, so it comes with 7.4/32nds of tread (normally 5.5/33nds) so I plan on getting decent tread life out of these.

Also I didn't include it on this thread but Im running a 275/30 on a 19x9 in the front. Rubs a little bit on full lock on the driver side fender liner but was able to reshape with heatgun and now have no problems.
