F82 M4 Manual LOUD Thud between shifts

Hello!

I just purchased an M4. It's got 40K miles on it.

Anytime I accelerate full throttle and shift it makes a loud thud in between shifts. My buddy has a M4 and it made the same sound. It's not a metallic sound at all. It's just a loud thud.

Is this normal?

By the way the car drives like a dream. No power loss. It's just the sound
