As far as glove driving goes, unless you have a problem with sweaty hand syndrome, leave those home too. To see those on somebody that's not professionally racing, is South Laguna all the way.

Was at a Thermal event recently, out of 20 guys one had driving gloves on, turned out the guy thought he was Ricky Racer, he oversteered, under steered, spun off track, was reprimanded by instructors, just a complete idiot, you took one look at the guy and just shook your head. Leave the gloves home.
Judge much? Jesus...

Some of us DO have sweaty hands. And that sweat does a number on the leather and reduces grip.

Also, this really isn't ridiculous driving, IMO. All of the speed is on the straights, corner speeds very reasonable. A proper "spirited" drive

OP, between the gloves, the lighting and the angles, this film is very vintage. Bravo!
Agreed. Nice vid and not sure why the hate toward the gloves. A grown man can wear any damn gloves he wants when driving his car. I never really cared for what others thought. Everybody's got an opinion it seems. Looked like fairly responsible spirited driving. I see much worse inattentive driving on the freeway during my daily work commute. I may need to duplicate some of your mic setup at my next HPDE event to capture the MPE on the S65. Thanks for sharing.

Those roads were so smooth. lucky! And no hate for the gloves. My hands sweat like crazy when I drive fast.

Nice video. Wish we had such roads over here...

I'd like some gloves because I suffer from sweaty hands all the time even when cruising on the highway. And when you're driving in the Alps and giving it the beans, it's annoying.

BTW, still gotta clean the steering wheel, though.

Awesome video OP, that road looks fantastic!
I do need hearing aids after the AC/DC concert from last night - good catch.

The sound is the same rasp. The 348 is just an octave higher.
On my spare time, I'm actually an audiophiliac and really anal about sound. With this being said, I don't like the sound of the 348 or the F80, but this is the best the F80 has ever sounded, thanks to the mic setup and RPM range the driver kept.

You had something going with the underlined part - legit comment pointing out the risks. I think the same way when going on a spirited drive. My theory is to always have an "escape plan" or way out if let say the oncoming car goes into my lane or some sort of animal/obstacle presents itself on the road. Obviously this has to be done within reason because you don't want to start calculating what you're going to do if a plane crash lands on top of your car. Risk will always be there, but we should try to minimize it as much as our brain allows, while still having fun.

Anyway, wtf is it to you if me, this guy, or the next guy drives with gloves on, ball sack hanging out, a wig and bright red leather pants? He's not in this world to look good for you while he drives by himself. If he is, that's a sad life.

Agreed - always do you, as long as that isn't hurting anyone else, that's what life is all about.

Video was nicely shot. Can't endorse driving fast on public roads but... Can't say I haven't done it either.

First off Powaup the OP made comment in his post read it "how bout them driving gloves"? lol he said!

Your on a fricken forum where subjective comment is exactly what a forum is. You pose the comment about gloves then whine about someone making a politically incorrect statement since you say " who cares what you think".

I can dislike anything I want to or anything I don't want to for any reason I feel like. If I have reasons why gloves look stupid to me that's my prerogative. Sorry those stupid gloves that the OP mentioned caused you to take offense to.
