For anybody doing their research. Another testimony.

The 2 way remotes ride better than the stock EDC. Even my GF mentioned it felt more “planted and not bouncing on every bump” the first time she rode in the car.

(To me) worth every penny. Maybe overkill for a “street car” but I wanted overkill for my personal build and it’s great.

It seems like you can use the Millway Street Spec camber plates on the MCS but you still have to transfer over your OEM thrust bearings. Then you have to use Millway's adapter to make the coilover spring fit. Millway only offers a 60mm adapter so make sure you spec your springs as 60mm ID.

It's best to contact Millway and ask them about your specific set up.

Going to bump this up as we are looking to upgrade our TCK coilovers to MCS. The 1WNR price is super attractive. And after using a set of 1-ways, I don't see a need to spend the extra on a 2-way as the newly released adjustable sways from BW are now availabel.

My question is what spring rates have you guys settled on? We run anything from a 200TW to a Pirelli DHs. MCS states the max rates the dampers can handle is 800/1100 and BW sells 700/1000 rates for track use.

Think I go for a custom valved set that can go up to 1000/1200?

Those rates (especially the rear) are on the heavier side of the adjustment range for the 1WNR. Depending on how much the spring loads over kerbs you may run out of rebound.

Your better option would be the 2WR (canisters). The remote dampers will create more mechanical grip and result in faster laps.

I'd call Wyatt at MCS and get his feedback.

I'd also consider a coilover rear which will allow you to get the same spring performance from a lower spring rate (when compared to a divorced setup).

This leads me to another question. How would a 2-way damper add mechanical grip as suppose to only a 1-way?

Having used a few different setups, I would do:
MCS 1W ~5k
MCS 3WR ~9k

I wouldn't do any intermediate step between those two from a bang for your buck mindset

700/1000 is plenty, although in a F8X I'd get the coilover rear which will be like 600 rate

A remote 2W is going to have higher performance on rebound - thereby keeping the wheel / tire on the ground by controlling the spring rebound. The key here is REMOTE canister. The 2WNR damper (like the 1WNR) will have similar (not ideal) characteristics.

You should talk to a BW sales rep because you have to take into account Aero added to the car.

The aero will play a role in recommended spring setup.

M3CS stock aero i was told 800/700 (rear is a true coil over) But this is middle of the road i have the option to bump up 100lbs if needed.

This is also based on Stock Sway bars and bushings.

I've spoken to BW and depending on who I speak with they change their recommendation between 1WNR and 2WNR and springs between 700/1000 or 800/1100.

Would this range of spring rates still apply with a aero package? Say 9 Lives Racing wing and APR splitter?

700/1000 is soft if you are going with slicks. It is more streetable. I started with 700/600 with 2 way remotes then went to 800/700 and it's pretty good. I do have a true coil over in the rear which I don't see any reason not to do that as it would be about like 1250-1300 divorced setup.

Also with remotes, I can lower the canister pressure from 175psi to 100psi and it makes the car streetable again. I do like driving this car about 2k/yr on the street.

I don't have sways. I run 305/646 DH takeoffs or RT660s 265/305

So with Aero, GT4 Front and the BW Rear Wing setup with Stock Sways on a CS.

They suggested 800/1000 on a 2wnr setup and compression settings will be a little higher. They didn't advice going any higher than this because of load on the tire depending what tire you plan on using.

My track tire of choice is AR1 so the suggestion was based on that. Even if i bump to the GT4More BW Sway bars they said to keep the spring rates and adjustments would be at the swaybar and the shock.

don't bother with the 1WNR, go with the 2WNR you really get to fine tune the suspension.

I may try the BW recommended rates but need to talk with them more about valving the dampers now in anticipation of trying stiffer springs.

To add further confusion... Vorschlag's true coilover rear rates are reverse of what most other shops are recommending. They are 650/800 front/rear for true rear coilovers.

I'm running 2WNR 800/700 with a coilover rear. Aero is all APR with front lip, canards, and rear GTC-300 wing. Stock sways on a civic M3. Tires are AR-1 295 front and 315 rear. Car is setup nicely to stay out there with prepped GT3RS'

Thanks! APR air dam and splitter? Or just the air dam? I'll see if you have any photos of your car in your posts.
