Thanks a bunch for this info. I think when I burn through my current replacement Essex set, I'm going to look into another rotor to pair with my AP 9660 calipers.

I think you were working on an adapter to use the PFC caliper - was it for the 4 pot or 6 pot caliper. How far did you get?

I’m going to jump in to discuss brakes again in the future and I’m pretty confident in the statements we already made. But for now we are pretty focused on catching up with work to date (including another brake upgrade) and next steps of the project – like this one…

Fantastic video. James has forgotten more about brake pads than we will ever learn... impressive

Nothing like a hardcore data-driven approach

Indeed. Bolt on wing (you have to slot some holes in the trunk panel) is already complete (coupe only - sedan coming soon) and on a few GT4 cars as an upgrade and track cars. The splitter is also more aggressive than the GT4 counterpart and will make its debut soon!

I know the 315 square tires were used, but how exactly they achieve the BW rep over the phone simply said it was still in the works and would be a track focused solution due to steering angle limiatations. OK cool!

And obviously we see carbon fiber splitter parts being made in a bad neighborhood! Imagine if they were made in a good neighborhood... maybe released sooner.

The good news is that I won't be leaving the F80 platform anytime soon. the G80 just doesn't do it for me.

Extremely busy with the final part of this years race season. Plus, it’s insanely difficult to get even raw materials for carbon fiber currently and labor to produce it. But it’s a safe bet that we didn’t spend this level of time in engineering and development to only use the parts on our car. We will have everything available to be on track by spring I think.

Amd now, before it heads to Vegas this weekend, a sneak peek at the splitter.

Back from SEMA - wanted to share these photos of the new splitter on the GTMore! We are looking forward to getting it back on track and really dialing in the whole package.
