^^^^ OK, so I got a bit impatient and just ordered a set 15mm all round.
When I get them on, I will post some pics - but it's likely to be a week or so. Depends if they are in stock in Australia or not.

I know what you mean - it seems that the convertible has a wider guard, but less of a flare.

I expect that the width of the spacer which we could be the same.
I read somewhere that the reason there's such a gap is due to German rules regarding the ability to fit snow chains. However, I doubt that you could actually fit snow chains on the 19" wheels anyway.

I've never seen a coupe next to a convertible - there aren't too many around here yet.

I think the gap also has to do with the added weight and the distribution relative to the top's location. I can imagine it adds a couple hundred pounds when the top is in the trunk. Either way I took care of that issue with some H&R sport springs Looking forward to the pics!

For those wanting to see a vert here is an F83 on H&R's with 15mm front and 12mm rear.

15mm in the rear it is! 12mm is just a tad off.. no rubbing with H&R though, right?

Would you have a picture of this setup? I have Swifts and I'm contemplating keeping the wheels squared with either 12/12 or 15/15. Thanks.

What's the safe size to go with H&R sport springs? I had H&R springs and 12/15mm (can't remember which ones were front and rear) spacers on my E90M3 and loved the stance. Looking to replicate it on the incoming F80.

Don't have any non cellphone pictures of the whole car yet for whatever reason. But here is the front and the back with the 15/15 spacers on swift springs.

So I've never had spacers but I'm extremely interested. I want a super aggressive look and was looking for some advice and questions answered.

1. What's a good aggressive offset? I'm thinking 20mm?
2. How safe are spacers, will it change my driving/suspension feel?
3. Could I install these myself or is it safer to get someone else to install them?
4. Should the front and rear have the same spacers?
5. Are you MSRP prices based on a set of 2?

Thanks!

Would be very similar to stock since Eibach gives a very conservative drop.

Most go with 15F/12R so rear tires don't stick out past fenders. Here's a MY15MG with Macht Schnell Competition Springs and 15/12mm setup:

Closest I have is the 15/12 combo with Macht Schnell springs. This car had EDC but that shouldnt affect the ride height

How much of an issue is the extra "stuff" that may get sprayed up from the front tires with spacers?

Seems that most people go 15F/12R. I'm not wanting to go super aggressive, so was considering 12/12 or even 12/10, but if it doesnt throw much more muck up onto the side (or more of an issue stones towards the area in front of the rear wheel), I'll likely do 15/12.

I have EDC and am likely going to get the Eibach springs (I wanted to wait for the M Performance Coilovers... but I may no longer have the car by the time they come out at this rate).

Anyone have any pics of spacers in combination with the Eibach springs?

I've had my M4 a week and 2 days now and I love it. It came with the black on black grill from the dealer. Day 5 I tinted the windows with ceramic 35 all around with a 70 on the windshield. I just ordered the Sto n' Sho removable front license plate per a thread I read here. Just want to avoid being stopped... Next will be the black chrome side gills and I have been thinking about spacers which this thread has helped me a lot. Thinking of doing 12mm on all fours. But also considering 10mm in front and 12mm in rear. Any preferences/recommendations?

Unfortunately, we don't see many Eibach installs as its the most conservative of all springs in ride height. Running a 12/10 setup on the spacers would be a bit more on the conservative side.

What are long term plans? Do you plan on keeping stock suspension or lowering in the near future?

I'm trying to achieve an aggressive stance and I was wondering if I can do 15mm on the front and 20mm on the rear ? Or what would give me the best setup to go really aggressive without rubbing. I don't plan on lowering the car anytime soon.

In my opinion the 15mm front would be no problem. Rear might have some rubbing under compression, bumps or hard cornering. I would go smaller with a 18mm or a 15mm rear.

I plan on 18/15. Seems to be the best look on an M3. 15/12 on an M4.
