They will be set up to handle on-site unlocking and flashing on their own after the event.
Part of the purpose of these Summer Flashing Day stops is to get our dealers trained with the new tools and the removal, unlocking, flashing, reinstallation process. |

It's not difficult by any means, and our dealers who have the experience can get them removed in less than 20 minutes, and re-installed in about the same time frame. We'll be working closely with the team at Achtuning to get them up to speed. They have a great crew and are highly capable which is why we have partnered with them! |

Just dropped my car at Achtuning this morning, they'll be practicing on ECU removal and estimating ETAs based on that. One concern Kelly has is that, apart from myself, he only had received one more deposit. Don't know if that affects the event but something to have in mind.

If this turns out successful, please considering returning to the PNW, Portland Oregon to be more specific. Got a good M group growing here and you can catch the remaining M owners from Seattle who miss this weekend's event. I'm sure they wouldn't mind the 3 hour drive to/from Seattle!

Waiting at achtuning for my VF ecu and tcu tune. I thought that gts features could be turned off or on at users discretion but guess that is not the case. VF, will this/can this be a option to be added?
Thing that really sucks is that it started sprinkling/raining-ish guess I have to go easy on the way home |

There's a VF tech on-site, you can ask him personally. Tell Kelly to take you to him

The "Start Up Roar" is enabled full time, as is the increased horsepower level on the Sport Gauges. I'm not certain whether we'll be offering user control over those other features, but if we do, it will be enabled through the use of our HEX Flash Cable. |

Well, from a quick test that I did yesterday, it's an entirely different car after the tune. So much more mid-range torque and it keeps pulling. Do not deactivate TC or SC until you're re-familiarized with the car, it will be very tail-happy at first and the gas pedal feels waaaay more sensitive. Its that good, and the GTS burble is amazing in Sport+.
