Hood rubbing on strut tower brace (both OEM) - anyone else?

Anyone else have a problem with their hood rubbing on the CF brace? I just noticed this today and sent the pics to my service advisor asking for a hood adjustment and warranty replacement of the CF piece.

Car is totally stock and the hood has never been adjusted.

Unfortunately, I would be shocked if they allow this, considering they are denying all the CF Roof Replacements with severe damage.

I wipe down the engine compartment every time I wash the car and even put a spritz of Griot's Garage Spray On Wax on the strut bar. I haven't seen this in the 3 years I've had my car. Same for my wife's M3, a little over a year old now.

I'd be bummed to see that rub mark on the CF strut brace! I'd argue diminished value, because who wants to see that?

Why not adjust the hood yourself? It's very easy.

Glad I saw this thread. I’ll need to check clearance when I get my hood installed.
