I'm in need of some recommendations for winter wheels/tyres for the M3 CS.
According to my registration certificate I can have 255/35 R19 square setup or 255/40 R18 square.
Oh, almost forgot: I believe I need ECE certified wheels
What are you guys using?

PS: R18 fits with carbon brakes??

I use the OEM 640M 18" winter wheel and tire combo from my previous M4.

However, if you have the CCB on your car, you need to run 19" or more. The 641M OEM 19" setup could be an option.

My M4cs with the 640M package:

18" does not fit CCB. I'm planning to join the APEX winter wheels and tires group buy for my M4 CS.

5 month update.

Only one warranty claim, the M4cs tends to crack the visor mirror if you aren't careful when you move the seat forward and the one-piece seat back slams into the visor....

Otherwise the car is a dream, draws a bit of attention from every age and gender identity with all of the extra "bumps" wheels and carbon.

My SA told me how they have to go through a few procedures such as swapping tires and alignment before they're able to flash. I hope that helps anyone else with this issue.
I went through that same exact issue with my M3 CS. Right hand drift. Same step procedure by dealer as well. They finally did the flash and it tracks like it's on a railroad track now. On Center feel and initial turn in feels much better as well.

So, I had this situation when my front windshield fogged up and realized we don't have the defogger button anymore. I had to manually set the air to come out through the top portion of the dash but configuring the amount of air and temperature was confusing. It took forever for the windshield to clear.
What have you guys done or tried that's more efficient at dealing with this? Lol

Don't have a CS myself but the way I used to do it with similar climate controls - manual controls (switch off auto AC), set it to the windshield setting, AC on, fan on full blast and cold temp which then you gradually increase

Manually adjust the HVAC settings:
  • Air distribution dial set on the windshield (defrost icon)
  • Fan set to maximum speed by pressing the big fan button until all the LEDs are lit
  • AC set to ON
  • Recirculation set to OFF

Leave the settings this way and just press the "AUTO" button to toggle between regular automatic HVAC and full defrost

My CS is black so the majority of the carbon parts is not really visible, however the ones you placed in the inside look pretty cool.
Where are you getting them from?
And what is that on top of your dash? Sun protection?

Hi

It's a chevron 4 series dash mat I use when detailing to prevent overspray from front window to the interior dash.

Can be used as sun protection but I don't keep it in as I don't park in the sun these days.

These are the stock parts hydrodipped and then clear coated. Not pure carbon fibre. It's impossible to find full carbon fibre for these interior parts given the relatively small production numbers of these cars.

The front rubber trim was a 1x1 weave to match the roof. Interior bits are a 2x2 weave. It will basically last for ever and has the durability of a normal painted part.

Did you end up pulling the trigger on the M4CS? I got mine yesterday

Also the exhaust tips on the CS are welded on so not as easy to slip off and on like a base or CP M4.
