Definitely happened a long while ago but this past weekend it was reinforced at the Performance Driving Center in SC. Felt like a Goldilocks situation driving the F87, F82, and F90. The F82 was juuuuuust right. Nimble and fun drifting yet confident and in control on the technical track.

I hadn't even driven an M4 Before i decided to buy one. I found the car i wanted in Belgium so i had to import it to Sweden. very uncommon with 6-speed comp packs here, only to in Sweden.
but i started to look into M4's after i sold my 335 coupe i had. I read a lot of tests and Reviews and they seemed to be on top in most places so i Went for it. it was a big chance to fly down to belgium and look at the car but it was almost new and with a fantastic spec so it Went home with me. i like it a lot, except rear Wheel grip and the a bit too aggressive diff, which i will fix. otherwise it's great. |

Everything...lol. My daily driver is an Acura MDX so it's a night and day difference when I get in the M3 from the Acura.

The looks/stance of the M4 got me first then the POWER. Now, its the BMW community. Its one big family, specially driving in the streets and people will recognize other bmw drivers.

You must live in M town. Where I am, if I look at other bmw drivers, they would give me their stuckup face and slam on their gas pedal, to prove shit.

The looks, power and a manual!! I'm on my second F82 and would have totally went with a third being the CS if it had a manual.

Always been in love with the M3. Since the e30 era I love the stance, aggressive look and the interior versus all other car manufacturers. I think it has always offered the best balance of speed, looks, practicality and cost for the performance you receive. Biggest selling point nowadays is that you can still get a family oriented sports sedan with manual transmission.

Incredible road confidence because the handling is very predictable and there's sufficient power.
fantastic daily driver and it fits car seats perfectly. |

Performance and build quality. Styling was huge for me as well. I've owned nothing but Mustangs, Chevy's, and Vettes. Out of all those, the M3 is by far the best and most fun. Just love how it looks, feels, and performs.

Where do I start... the fact that this is the fastest 4-door 6-MT in the US is the crux of the matter... the design is awesome.. the power and handling is excellent.. the convinience and technology is great .. aftermarket support is great.. I have a 2018 6-MT... just look at it... the front end.. the back end.. full leather interior... center console design.. everything!!! DCT or 6MT if you want it.. coupe or 4-door if you want it... nowhere else do you get these options...

Warning: Fanboy Rant Below
Honestly, like some already mentioned it's almost flawless and I love everything about my F80. IMHO, I think it's the best looking sedan..ever made..ever. Huge fender arches, bulges in the right places, perfect body lines, it looks beautiful but yet so aggressive at the same time. I think the general public agrees with me, I've never had more people compliment or give thumbs up while I'm in the F80 compared to any other car I've been in or driven. She's not just a pretty face either, the power potential of the straight 6 twin turbo S55 is mind-boggling, running deep in the 10s and near 600whp with just a tune is ridiculous. Not a one-trick pony either, she is an M3 after all so handling is amazing of course, class-leading. The car is super reliable for being an M car, in fact I would argue that this is the most reliable M car ever made. If you're like me and extra OCD, get the crank hub upgraded and you pretty much have a bulletproof package. The driving position is also near perfection, it feels low and really sporty, the seats are amazing and the controls are perfectly placed. Compared to my E92 M3, the E92 feels like driving a school bus while sitting on a Lazyboy recliner. I could continue to write pages on how amazing the F80 is, I just love this car and have never once got bored of it. I know some people might bash the way the car sounds but I actually really learned to enjoy its unique voice. I think it sounds quite good actually. So that is my opinion and why I will never sell my F80, it's that good! |

I hated the F80 when I first drove it. I drove 2 different cars and they were so unstable and unplanted.
But, then I drove the Competition and it was worlds better than the standard. The CS was still a step better, fantastic car. Unfortunately the price in our country is ridiculous. So when my S65 broke (yes unfortunately not the bearings though) I had to look for a new car and found this Speed Yellow 2017 Competition fully loaded with M-performance exterior, interior and exhaust. I love it. It does not drive exactly as well as the CS but as a daily and long trip car its perfect. Looking forward already for next summer and the trip to Germany. Speed Yellow as a colour is great, get a lot of thumbs up in the traffic . Next car might be G80 but in Finland we have to wait for the prices to go down first. |

Yup, I was looking in to getting a E90 M3, I got invited to a Bmw driving experience, and drove one and I was hooked, had to have one.

For me it was the looks of the F80. I love the wide rear fenders, amazing front lights and it simply looks like the most aggressive sedan out there. There are other cars with the same or more power, better interior looks and more advanced tech but if I didn't like the look of the car that I would use as my daily that stuff didn't matter. I needed a sedan and no other came close.
Gotta love that rear end! |

I personally believe the black sapphire M4 is one of the most beautiful M cars ever
And not to be completely biased with my previous statement, I think the Imola Red F80 is just as nice
