Blackvue dashcam keeps on disconnecting: any suggestions?
Hi all,
I just have my shop installed a Blackvue dashcam (DR900X). Whenever I want to use the app to look at the video, once I selected the smaller file, it will play for few seconds, and the wifi connection drops off. Try it a few times, even set the wifi to 2.4Ghz, and still does it. Any one have similar issue, and how to fix it? Not sure if it interferes with Carplay, but don't want to disconnect carplay since somehow it's a pain to reconnect. Thanks |

Reinstall the software that's downloadable from BlackVue's website on your computer, copy it over to the SD card, and reinstall the software to your DR900x. I've actually had numerous issues with my DR900X 2 ch and it usually all goes away once I reinstall the software.
They also just released a new firmware update where the app itself connects to the camera via bluetooth automatically instead of having to go into the settings of the iPhone to manually connect everytime.

Your phone shouldn't be jumping off the blackvue PAN anymore and back to carplay. If you get the prompt that there is no internet access, you need to hit continue using as you won't have Internet access with that PAN.

I have Thinkware on my car. Carplay interferes with it, so the car has to be switched off. I usually have enough time to pull the video I need before the dashcam goes into Park mode (8 minutes before Accessory power in the car is cut)

thanks for all the response. will need to try to download the latest firmware and reinstall.
Right now, there are random times in which it says parking mode on, parking mode off, multiple times during driving. Lot of times the middle light is off, and the left light is red, and sometime no lights at all To be honest I don't know why I need to mess with that with a fresh install from the shop... Anyone have similar issues? |

Still have the random turn on and turn off issues. I download the latest firmware and reinstall, same thing.
Should the left light always be green? Lots of times it’s red, orange, sometime doesn’t even light up. Do I have a lemon?? |
