Gloss black or carbon fiber?
I’m seeking opinions! My Mineral Gray F80 has a gloss black front lip and lower splitters. I went this route for a couple reasons, one of which was to match the gloss black kidney grilles, side vent trim, window trim and 437M Jet Black wheels. Meanwhile, I have an RKP carbon fiber rear diffuser.
I would like to add side skirts and rear lower skirts/splitters to round out the aero kit, and I’m vacillating between whether to go with gloss black or carbon fiber for those parts. Does the carbon rear diffuser stand alone and the rest of the pieces go gloss black? Do I go with carbon rear lower splitters to match the diffuser and then gloss black side skirts to match the front lip? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Pics for reference:

Thanks for the feedback, and I don’t disagree! My major dilemma is with the rear side splitters: do I go gloss black to match black side skirts, or do I go carbon fiber to match the rear diffuser?

I too went this route on my Mineral Gray F80
I opted for a gloss black CS style lip, gloss black lower splitters and upper splitters Gloss black side skirt and pending arrival of gloss black diffuser. I kept the carbon up top, meaning, mirror caps and rear oem m performance wing |

Although, I don't disagree with the comments already made. I think carbon fiber just pops in the sun. I have carbon on my mineral white metallic M3. I know a different color entirely. But opinions really mean nothing, it is up to the owner to decide what his or her tastes are.

Both would look good, but since you already have a CF diffuser it would look nice to add at least one more piece of CF. A set of CF mirror caps or splitters would set if off nicely.

Just for reference, I got a paint matched front lip, has the carbon splitters, carbon eBay side skirts, and some other carbon diffuser. Maybe look into a paint match?
I thought it might not look the best since 3/4 sides have carbon and this big piece being paint matched, I like it more than I thought as time goes on |

Looks good to me, and if you like it, then that's what matters the most.
