Hello, has anyone ordered parts from getbmwparts.com ?

If so, could you please share some feedback about your buying experience ? Are the parts genuine OEM stuff ? How competitive are their prices ? How's the shipping ? Overall customer service ?

I'm planning on buying a M performance lip and CF splitters for my f80

P.S. Are there other good genuine OEM parts sites that you trust ? Please share

It's the parts department of BMW of Silver Spring, so OEM parts for sure. I go between them and ECS depending on the parts I need & pricing. Generally, I find their pricing to be pretty competitive, you just need to watch the shipping. Regarding service I have an imported E34 and they are pretty good at researching "NLA" parts and tracking down last one.

I've had a great experience with GetBMWParts during a few transactions. I've also shopped around with my local BMW Parts Dealer who will match their (GetBMWParts) prices. Something you may want to consider if you want to save on shipping.

I’ve used them numerous times for shipping to APO addresses and I’ve never been disappointed. My stuff is always packed really well for the journey and their pricing is MUCH better than anything I can find in Italy. I like that their website lets me search via a specific link for F8x M Performance Parts.

Pretty much a commoditized market reselling the same OEM goods. You've got options and they've all been solid based on my experience. I don't like how they pad in so much on shipping and handling. That's an old school model in this age of amazon.com, but hey, they need to put food on table as well until someone does it better.

Would add to the comments here. Ordered something from them and I was shipping to work, they wanted me to verify card and address etc. because billing address for personal card didn't match shipping. While annoying, I rather them be more careful of fraud then not. They were very understanding and helpful. Evan particularly.

GetBMWParts isn't some fly by night website - they've been the favorite for OEM parts for years. I've been ordering from them for about a decade and they always ship fast and trouble free. Occasionally I price-shop and every time I end up back at GetBMWParts.

total scam, stay away. no one on this forum has ever had a successful transaction there

they are very good, probably the most competitive in discounts and pricing when I've been window shopping for m performance parts.

Any parts department can provide discounts and fulfill m performance parts, but may be too much leg work to find a deal.

The members classified is the best way not to pay M tax to a degree.

RW carbon provides serious competition price wise.

And Alas there is good ole ebay. For disposable parts such as a lip. Or diffuser which you don't really see much. Always some fitment issues. but never bother me
