Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I'm at a fork in the road between these two sets of wheels. Same price but not sure which one I like more... The car is an Alpine White F80 M3 VFF 101 VFF 103 Thanks in advance! |

If you want something that looks like a BBS, get a BBS. So I voted 103. They look good too, and it doesn't look like a wanna be.

Yeah, but he isn't asking about other wheels. He asking between vorsteiner wheels vff 101s and vff103s. They are both 10.5 inch rear at a 34 offset. So yes the rear on the 103 is very concave for the width. And I agree with you on other wheels that are 11 inch, most all are really concave depending on style.

Voted 103 which is what I was going to go with until I found out that BBS was finally going to release the CI-Rs in 19". Hope that doesn't trip you up.

The 103 seems to match better to the M4's aggressive-yet-soft-and-bulbous lines

Depends what you use them for. There is a reason why BBS costs more. They are much stronger, so if you plan on tracking the car, BBS will not crack with the stresses put on them. Occasionally non track wheels do. Vorsteiner does do Forged wheels too, but they are expensive as well. Vorsteiner Flow Formed 101 and 103 are great street wheels.

I have mine on pre-order. I was told they would be available mid-Feb. There is a thread on here where one of the vendors announced they were taking pre-orders on their first 5 sets due this month. I am still waiting and don't mind since I really do like the CI-Rs. These are probably as close to the FI-Rs as you are going to get without going with cheap knock-offs.
I will ask on the other thread if there are any updates.

Actually knowledge and common sense are more important buddy.
But just for the record, others voted and also posted their opinions so I'm not certain as to why you singled me out??? Perhaps you should have read further than the first reply. |
