I owned:

e36 M3
e46 M3

Those are the only BMW's I owned. I'm 32 and if I had to do it all over again, I would do exactly the same. I would own both again and change nothing about them.

Zero regrets. Only great memories.

Two of the best BMW's ever produced and nobody could ever convince me otherwise. And I've driven plenty of Bimmers over the years, including the legendary e30.

The new M3 looks great on paper, both physically and performance-wise. I can't wait to test drive it.

Since '01, with an E39 M5, '05 E46 M3, and my current. With a 14 month hiatus where I found that a 997 was not the car for me. Each one was a great car, and each successively better than the last. I'll order an M4 next Fall, so I probably will test drive one prior, but that's just about my timing. I wouldn't hesitate to order one without driving it first. I just don't think M Division has forgotten how to make cars.

I was slightly disappointed with my e 92 328xi, but that was my fault for not thinking I needed more engine!! Duh. Not BMWs fault

I'm not sure the point of this poll.
First off, there are many people on this forum who criticized me and other members for ordering a car without driving it

Second, to see the faith people have at shelling out a lot of money in a car that we have may or may not have previously owned based on some factor

Third, to see how many people who have never owned or driven an M, willing to dive in and buy one sight unseen and without a drive.

It shows that all of us kinda have some gambler in us. Plus it helps shut up the haters of the new car showing that we still have faith in the M3/M4

This will be my first M. I dont need a test drive... specs/figures/manufacturer track record and reputation speak for themselves. I personally don't care about what the grandpas say about buying a car without first test driving it. Why would they care anyway? Its not their money.

Don't see how they can go wrong, lighter and has the much needed torque the e9x didn't!
