Yes, I would take the chance on that especially since they're picking the car up in an enclosed vehicle as well.
That offer got out the table the moment Ive contacted BMW U.K…then he said I couldn’t drive the car if I wanted to reject it and couldn’t reject on the basis of cosmetic grounds and had to pay for transportation myself! However now it’s also mechanical grounds, things have changed!

Yes, rear springs on the suspension. I understand and thought the same. However after the latest proper check by the local BMW they can see the car is good mechanically and nothing else to report and the car (even with two broken springs) drives great. The annoying thing here is that to me, I think the law has been broken a few times too many…selling the car in that state and clearly passing an MOT when it should have failed…I don’t quite know what could have happened if I hadn’t checked if I was to push the car hard with broken springs!?

Dealers don't disclose shit. CarMax hid $1k worth of damage to a fender, scratches and chips. My brother noticed it when we were picking up the car.

They paid my body shop to fix it as that's the only way I said I would take delivery of the car but never trust a dealer.

Looks like I am starting to see the light at the end of a very long and twisted tunnel…they have agreed to pay for the replacement of the rear springs, a brake service and clean and contribute a grand for the paint repairs…hopefully soon the car will be spot on and I can start enjoying it fully! Thank you for your advice
Learn with my experience…never trust anyone even at main dealerships and if they promise anything, make them put it in writing first before driving off!

Excellent. It may be worth looking at CF mudflaps or the TLG ones?

Once resprayed have a look at the Automotive Passion Carbon Arch guards here: https://automotivepassion.net/produc...age-ap-design/

Might also be worth looking at some custom PPF for the rear arches too…

Can I get those in the U.K.?
Yes, I’ve got the PPF guy booked, 2 weeks after the paintwork!
Just debating if I do just the sides along the bottom, just the rear arches or also the bumper and hood?!

Brilliant these! Thanks a lot! I’m getting some for sure…do you know if they are straight forward to install? Do you have some? Just front or both sides?

Very straightforward to install from what I've seen

Given what you've gone through I'd say front are essential. Rear are less important but still a good option

Yeah, pretty easy - the rears are tight to get on if you have 20" wheels but doable with a right angled screwdriver

Yeah, I did front and rear for maximum protection and they had a Facebook deal on which was £100 for the pair inc VAT and delivery - if you speak to Thomas Watson on FB he normally gives out a 10% discount code

Sorry for the troubles.

I had a 2016 M4 F83. Drove it through ONE extremely crazy winter storm -- got caught on the mountains in NorCal / Oregon border. Lots of reddish colored volcanic rock / gravel / sand / salt. Drove through. A few days later came back through and the roads were very gritty. The next wash I noticed the entire side, front / rear fenders / rear bumper / etc -- all thrashed just as badly as yours.

It was extremely disappointing. In my case behind the wheels was chewed up from larger gravel in addition to just the minor dints/nicks ... I sold the M4.
