Veyron also has 4 turbos, so not only does it have big displacement but it's also FI. The argument was that there is no replacement for displacement. I say there is - FI is one of course, but highly tuned high RPM NA engines are also a good replacement.

To answer the question I'd accept a Veyron as a gift, and quickly convert it to a dozen drivers' cars, 458 included. But I would never buy a monstrosity like Veyron with my own money.

Here's someone who had two hours with the new C63S... I left the car at the dealer with mixed feelings:

The first great thing about the car is the engine/exhaust note when driving in sport+ - insane!

...and that's it to be honest.

The interior quality is not as good as expected.
It had the optional bucket seats, those were not comfy compared to those the BMW has.
The ride quality (it had 19") ...the M3 felt more comfortable in comfort mode... the center screen is not facing the driver... and so on.

There are a lot of details I just do not like about the car... the car just does not feel driver focused... the second "great" thing is, You can get it as an estate and that's it imho.

W205 C63s is my next daily ride most likely, best interior in class at least to me (only hate that Garmin sticking out of dash but can live with it) The whole package is just more appealing and more special.

The w204 c63 is to this date one of the most fun cars i've driven. It's just such a good blend of luxury and menacing power / grunt / sound that anybody who loves cars should walk away with a sh*t eating grin.

That said I would never own one because of the tranny, and would take an F8x M3/4 over it any day, especially now that the M twins have the straight line power to match. The N/A throttle response and tactile feeling of the V8 cannot quite be replicated, but neither can the feeling of boost coming on and scaring the crap out of your passengers. Pick your poison.
