Got OWNED by an RS6 Avant

So, I'm on the autobahn (A6) in the right lane trying to see how near 30 MPG I can get around 80 MPH. Suddenly (PLÖTZLICH!), an E92 M3, RS6 Avant (Wagon) and Ferrari F430 go whizzing by me. So, I manage to get in front of the RS6, but have the other two in front of me. Construction clears and we all hit it. The M3 and F430 cede to the right and the RS6 and I eat their lunches (bus lengths) to about 150. A little traffic comes and we go back down to 50 MPH. Traffic clears at about 65 mph and I absolutely crush the gas and am in a PERFECT power band for the RPMs and get thrusted to the back of my seat. There is no way the RS6 is still with me, right?

He is pressing me like the Macho Man with Elizabeth hoisted overhead. I move right and the guy passes me like I'm standing still. I could not believe it. Much respect for the RS6 Avant. Absolute monster. It sounded even meaner than it looked in my rear view as it passed me. What a phuxing cool car. . . Like, I'm still in awe.

RS6 avant was the king of the autobahn on my ED... I tried to chase him but gave up at 140mph. He was still pulling HARD at that point. They are fantastic cars and man are they sharp looking too.

Depending on what year, that thing might have had a twin turbo V10... No chance man.

The new ones are beasts, with the TTV8, you think some chip tuning transforms OUR cars? These things turn into rockets!

Dude yeah you don't mess with them Audis making over 500hp lol they put that power down like nobody's business and pull HARD & LOUD. It's too bad we don't see the avants here in the US

LOL OP are you surprise.... the new one on the picture above is a V8TT 500+ HP and if it was the the 2013 model with the V10TT then even worse 550+ without any tuning so... yeah you got smoke and even if you were tuned it would of ate you alive..

I mean if it was the tuned ttv10, then game over... if it was the new one and ur stock, then it wouldnhave been very difficult. Thats an M5 class car made for straighline.

This happens to me all of the time. lol. a few weeks ago I raced a different F430, beat him, but lost to a V10 modded M5. I didn't rev over 5500ish RPM, though, because I was just crossing the mileage for first service. I think it would have been even had I not done the right thing. lol.

When in Germany, hang out in the right lane when everyone is flying by, and someone will test you. Regarding my original post, earlier that day I had a Cayenne Turbo S try and lost badly.

Having just been in Germany its crazy how much more aggressive these cars look in person vs pictures. Same with the RS4 Avants that were all over the place. Shame we don't get those options here.

i have seen vids of them trapping in low 120s, on par with e63s. Thats faster than f8x agreed.

Would have thought it was closer since some f80 are trapping 119-120

At the rs6 fans, the e63s and cts-v wagons have your name on it.

You'll have to be content with this in the US for a 6 series Audi....

Still, tuned to 580hp and 630lb-ft, it is truly "holy shit" fast. If you want more, there is the RS7. I am not a fan of the looks but it puts down over 660hp with just an ECU flash.
