There are dealers offering 11% off before incentives. These are the same dealers that were offering 11% off before coronavirus, you just have to find them. Coronavirus hasn't moved the needle on most deals since factories are closed but incentives should be coming later this year. Only problem is there might not be many M4s left by then.

My South Florida dealer has one. And the manager is doing very aggressive deals to move it and the last CS he has (fully loaded alpine white with CCB's).

You are not connecting with the right stores. There are deals to be made right now. See my post above.

Found the dealership with the car. It's a DCT. Velvet Blue is my ultimate favorite BMW color, but don't like it enough to settle for DCT. I'm a purist manual guy. Although I do have a '19 M4CS in DCT (Obviously no other option, and do absolutely love the car), I'd consider parting with it for a manual Velvet Blue. At the same time I doubt I'll ever locate one, so DCT CS it is for me.... (haha poor poor me)

Are these wholesale prices from Mannheim or some other auction site or are you tracking asking price is retail across some region?

I keep waiting for retail prices to come down in line with where things are selling wholesale but if these prices you are posting our wholesale prices then it doesn't look like Price saw these cars are really come down that drastically because of corona!?

I wouldn't necessarily expect prices for all cars to come down because of corona. People are still buying cars and have been even since lockdown began in many areas around the country. So if you're waiting for prices to drastically drop on ///M cars, you'll be waiting for quite some time. That and it's anticipated for the used market to rebound and start to creep back up in the coming months

My local dealership laid off 70% off its staff and told me they weren't hiring anyone back.

To me that means they are going to squeeze everything they can off of whats on their lot already, and not particularly promising for a drop in prices.

Contradicting point: Personally, I'm keeping at eye on CPO M4s, and in the last two weeks alone a few have made their way below $45K online. Currently a AW ZCP with 30K on it I believe.

Anyone think they'll hit $40K?

Believe it or not, previous model cars do not "drop" in value when a new model is released. Everyone thinks that but it doesn't happen.

It drops when there's an increase in supply and/or a decrease in demand. It'll drop when M3/M4s are returned after the 3 year lease period.

Is there a time where a concentration of them come off of their leases? Im assuming September/October but don't know.

They are RWD sports cars with incentives that start in Dec...And strangely enough, the residual is highest near the end of the model year (so spring)..

So in theory you might see the market get more cars right around spring/early summer.

It seems supply is down and wholesale pricing is showing it. More 18MY are starting to hit the market, and will continue to as we approach the second half of 2020. (18MY began 35 months ago on July 1, 2017).

New car supply is nearly non-existant as buyers have been buying off lots that haven't been replenishing due to manufacturing shut down, which here anyway, only started back up 2 weeks ago. Similarly, used cars are being bought but only recently did dealerships and manheim re-open the wholesaling side to keep circulating inventory.

Manheim from May 8 - May 28 17MY:

Sales: 37
Avg Price: $46,472
Avg Miles: 28,340

The wholesale price is ~$700 more than Feb 7 through Mar 7, with slightly lower avg mileage.
