The valving for the CS settings is so much better and matches up much nicer with the KW HAS springs and the car is comfortable and composed again. Absolutely fantastic setup right now and I'm glad I did it. I hope this helps anyone on the fence about doing either or.
Great review ! And it shows that the CS coding truly adds that compliance aspect that the F80 seemed to always miss even stock theoretically. It was just less noticeable due to all the travel available at stock ride height.

which unit need coding for the damping to change from non-ZCP to CS ? I read that EDC, but there is VDC unit and ICM unit - which are also somehow involved in the chassis management. Just wondering if these two need to be coded somehow as well.

DSC, EPS, GHAS, VDC1, and EGS (if you have DCT) require VO coding for CS or GTS settings. VDC1 is the electronic suspension ECU. See https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1649232 for a how to.

thank you, I followed that thread, will try using FDL coding changes one unit after another to see / feel any changes. the reason I've got confused on the EDC/VDC is that kubax86 referred on his saettings as follows - and I've got confused on what is the EDC there and VDC in different setting.

EPS: GTS
GHAS: GTS
EGS: GTS
EDC: CS
VDC: Standard

Hey guys. I see this is an old thread, but was wondering if anyone has CS EDC coded to a ZCP M4 with KW HAS.

I am considering going to CS EDC and changing the front swaybar to base M4 swaybar.
I'm already running a 19" front wheel with a 20" rear ( same as the CS/GTS setup)
