CSM3 do you have confirmation the CCB gold caliper piston are made of titanium? reason I am asking because I was curious about it so took my caliber and tried to scratch a non functional surface of the piston .... guess what was pretty easy to scratch it so my conclusion is made of aluminum. I would be actually surprised a mass production Brembo caliper to have "special" material for the calipers. They use them on GTR calipers.

not what i wanted to hear lol

i guess then my best option is to just buy better pads, fluid and lines for my stock m4 brakes since i do about 2 track days a year. just swap pads back and forth for track

depends on tires, tracks and driving style there is not way around. racing brakes sells SS piston for those calipers which should help lower brake fluid temperature. I will try that.

I went with ceramic discs. Weightsaving was 6,7 kg's per side up front!
Great improvement over the steel discs!

The stopping force increase is immense compared to stock 4piston, especially when combined with some aggressive pads and sticky tires. Never going back to stock 4piston, even with increased un sprung weight.

I tested the kit in a very brake demanding track (Anneau Du Rhin in France) and it's very good.

I run Pagid pads.
Very happy with it !

Yes, if you have the standard M2C brakes.

Just installed this retrofit kit on my F80 over the weekend. Will be having kubax86 do the brake coding soon and will report back if I notice any difference.

M2C calipers use rotors bigger than the M3.

Did you go from CCB to the M2 2NH brakes? I thought there was no coding necessary if going from blue brakes to M2 2NH?

Stock blue brakes to red 2NH. While coding may not be necessary and the car did drive just fine, the instruction that came with the kit did say that it needs to be programmed. I contacted a dealer and they confirmed this as well.

Hmm that's interesting. Besides the part where the ABS system is flushed, I didn't know there was any programming necessary. Could you let us know what exactly the coding changes are for whenever you get it done from Kubax86, is possible. TIA.

I got the coding done this morning by kubax86. VO and DSC were coded. There is a noticeable difference in bite like mention by those that got coding done.
