Here is the BMW M4/M3 Ordering, Pricing, Delivery and European Delivery Timeline

We can sense the anxiousness in many of our M3/M4-owners-to-be's posts, so here's a timeline to help guide you through the next few months.

Pricing for the 2015 M3 has been announced in the U.S. at $62,000 and 2015 M4 at $64,200 [U.S. pricing guide].

But we can now also provide a better timeline of what to expect through the next few months in terms of order/price guides, as well as order bank submission, deliveries and european delivery dates.

Important M3/M4 Dates (updated as of 4/4/14):

January 18-25: auto show debut @ Detroit (public days).

End of January-February: Full Pricing-Ordering Guides released.

February: Dealers receive allocations and order bank opens for submission of customer orders (after Pricing-Ordering Guides are released).

March: Production begins for launch/demo cars.

Late April: Production begins for customer cars.

First week of May: International press drives (first reviews).

First half of June: U.S. press drives.

3rd Week of June: Customer deliveries (worldwide) and European Delivery begin (subject to change based on EPA certification) - scheduled date is June 21, 2014. M4 convertible deliveries follow approximately 4 months later.

* The timeline is of course subject to change, but we're getting pretty close to these dates, so they should not slide by far, if at all [updated as of 4/4/14].

I'm tired of waiting, and we found out some more stuff today... but we basically found out how long we have to wait. Argh!

The poll showed 9/10 people liked what they saw. I was drooling over the Z06 myself yesterday but it won't change the fact that I'm ordering an M3. Thou can loveth more than one car.

Awesome info. Thanks for the update! Many of us are on the wait list at our local dealers and I find it hilarious that we end up knowing more than the SAs.

I have some minor reservations about the new F82, but probably don't have the best opportunity to test drive the car as my dealer in Idaho Falls will probably not have a demo car. I would like to hear about how the car drives from as many impartial reviewers as possible before committing to buy. Does it look like test drives won't be accomplished before June?
Also, I am not interested in any of the colors announced and hope some compelling individual colors will be available on the early cars.
Any thoughts?

+1 I'd like to see a few reviews and different colors prior to June for sure.
