CarPlay does not support HUD.
If it’s done properly no issues with nav nor HUD.

Just ordered my ID6 retrofit with touchscreen for Black Friday from Rob at retrofitmybimmer.com. I’ll let you know how it goes! If there’s any installation tips that I should know of ahead, let me know. I.e placement of the wireless antenna.

Has anyone done a ID4 to ID6 upgrade on a 2015M and installed a back up camera as part of the upgrade? I'd love to do the HU upgrade but want to add a bu camera at the same time.
