I have been able to discern from various other sources that of the 500 30-Jahre Edition cars, 30 were RHD in Frozen Siver with Black/Silver interior for the UK market, and 150 were Macao Blue with Black/Blue interior for the US market. Is it possible to pull from your data source how many of the remaining 320 cars, all of which were Macao Blue, have the Black/Blue interior and how many had the Black/Silver interior?

BMW built 567 30 Jahre Editions. One of them is the pre-production car that was used for the unveiling of the special edition. BMW breaks them down into the following variant numbers.

Variant 1 - Frozen Silver on Black/Blue
Variant 2 - Macao on Black/Grey

Thank you, sir....Very interesting that the production figures are for 567 cars when all of the press materials stated that only 500 cars would be built to this spec. Now that the data confirms it is less exclusive than originally thought, maybe I should ask for a new dash placque that says 1/567 instead of 1/500?

This is for every single F80. pre-LCI, LCI 1, LCI 2, CS.

I don't know why you think it is low. There were 12,603 E36 M3 Sedans and only 9,674 E90 M3s.

thanks man for clarifying. i guess in my mind i just thought more would have been produced.... as an owner i am definitely ok with this :P i'm likely one of only a few dozen owners of ZCP 6MT in my whole country which is nuts.

even more nuts is if you figure the average selling price is about CAD$90K, this is a CAD$3B (about €2B) generation for them and that's not even including F82!
