Carplay with iOS14

Has anyone updated to iOS14 yet? I usually wait until several hotfixes before I jump into a new iOS version. I'm wondering if the fullscreen capability has been enabled, and how well the wallpaper function works. Any other improvements?

I already have the fullscreen with the coding from Kubax, so no change there.

There have been zero issues with my CarPlay with iOS 14, I'd even say it's better. The new wallpapers are nice, makes it more modern looking.

iOS doesn't affect on Fullscreen. What matters is patch inside the headunit.

No issues with iOS 14. Have been running it for many months (since first release of iOS 14 for Dev community)...

Is there any way with iOS 14 to display the "full route" on the BMW screen?

For context, this is the screen you see on the iPhone when clicking "details" on the destination in iOS. It tells you the next 10 turns (for example) instead of just the next 1 turn that CarPlay displays on the dash.

It's nice to have access to this information on the dash without having to (dangerously) pick up the iPhone and click through.

Other then dragging the map on the touchscreen (2018+) the only way is to jailbreak your phone and install plugins to allow CarPlay to mirror your phone's screen. It's not worth the hassle imo, just get a decent phone mount. Both google maps and Waze show the next few directions on the phone screen while using CarPlay

And to OP: it's not possible that a software update on the phone can make CarPlay fullscreen. Fullscreen CarPlay can be coded, it's already addressed in several other threads.

Letters with P,Q,R.... needs ENET patch.
