lol @ two different cars... only they share same engine, drivetrain, wheelbase, majority of interior.. differnt in.. maybe looks? if that makes them "different".. than i guess so.
bet you performance figures will be very similar between m3,4. |

Yeah, why they just keep M3 2d coupe and M3 4d sedan names. Base models and other GC M-version etc. stuff get 4-series badge. Just sound weird to call M3 to M4.

The 4er drives differently and is a more dynamic car than the 3er.
With the basis for M having to be a very good car to begin with before its transformation into an M. The M4 will build on the 4er 's strengths and offer more enhancement. The M4 is not going to be a more powerful 435i , everything about those two cars will be noticeable just like today's 335i and M3. As I said there is no more need to prolong the wake. The M3 Coupe is dead. Its now time for a new M that is equally iconic. The BMW M4 Coupe.

Will I remember right that legendary E30 M3 not been called coupe? it has 2d saloon/sedan like basic e30 2d versions, so E30 model has no coupe version only 2d saloon/sedan and 4d saloon.
