Pure Stage 2 or Stage 2+?

To keep it short, I'm looking to safely make ballpark of 650whp without building the motor (it's understood meth may be required). Are stage 2+ necessary to achieve this or will i be alright with just stage 2 high flows? From what i read, it sounds like high flows will be just fine. Does anyone know the pluses or minuses? I don't plan on doing full build in the future or going much higher than that

I just dyno’d on PS2’s at 635whp. That was on a 50/50 blend of 93 and 100 octane. Full race gas I’d imagine over 650.

Meth or no meth? Do you think either one of those would be better suited to make those numbers on just 93?

No meth. Yet.... 93 on meth with a good tune should bring you there based on what I’m seeing on here. If not higher.

So it's sounds like pluses aren't necessary unless want to make over 750?

I was in the same boat. Decided on PS2 high flows. Sounds like they're good for up to maybe 750rwhp with the right setup/fuel, I am personally hoping to hit 650+ with a e85 blend, maybe E40. I'm sure you can also get there with meth or some race gas, though. I was told the PS+ have a lot more lag.

PS2 and stock internals. 650 whp is pretty insane power for a street car.

My ps2’s are making 705whp on e85 with methanol as supplemental fuel source and cooling in the summer. We all toss around dyno numbers, but putting that power down on the street is a whole different ball game.

Seriously what do you guys do with all that power? Even in stock trim, it’s way more than enough for the canyons and road course haha. Are freeway pulls your main source of entertainment? Haha do explain

Add sticky tires, play with boost by gear and learn to modulate the throttle in second and third gear haha. Yea man you can only really use all the power on freeways and backroads/twisties when the ground has sun on it and the tires are warm. Well with good enough tires you can get away with just warm tires lol. At 700whp 3rd gear is totally useful once soft sticky tires are warm so that lets you play around a good amount, but freeway wot 3-4-5 gear pulls are pretty entertaining hahaha

PS2 hiflows will get you to 700whp with PI and E85 alone on a stock motor if the DA around you is good. Watch the torque as it is pushing the stock block a little bit and will probably give over time depending how you drive the car.

With the current pricing of PS2 hiflows and PS2+ i would go for the PS2+ just incase you ever do decide to build the motor or want the additional benefits.

Any crank hub support/fix with your setup? I was hell bent on going stage 2's when i first posted this... up until i read into the spun crank hub issues and catastrophic failures lol... now I'm terrified to even pull the trigger. I'm 6MT and my year is the same one most people post about. I know this can happened with stock cars, but it seems to be prone to those with turbo upgrades.

Yes I did the Vtt complete crank hub solution using their latest v2 hub. It’s an added expense for sure, but not as expensive as the alternative lol

I haven't heard that before. How is the lag with your current HF's compared to the stock turbos?
