How much quieter did the car get?

Does anyone have the specs or even measurements of what AA uses?

Not sure of what AA uses for specs and whatnot. But my car sounded worse than a 1990 civic straight piped.

I actually bought 4 resonators just in case I needed more than 2. I tried the 2 in the back and it dramatically reduced the rasp. I tried to find the smallest bottle style resonators I could find and these were literally perfect for that case and reducing a ton of rasp. I do have sound clips but they are on my phone. I’ll try to upload to YouTube later

I have 2 of these NIB just sitting in my closet. PM if you're interested.

I had another set on my catless N55 with MPE and it was just perfect sounding.

I'll try to remember to measure next time I'm under the car, but they are about the same size as the ones Mikey used. Just not bottle-shaped.
The placement may be just as important as the size, since that is about there the stock resonator goes, and where AA puts theirs. I always try to cheat off the engineers' test whenever I mess with stuff like that.

The placement may be just as important as the size, since that is about where the stock resonator goes, and where AA puts theirs (on the passenger side anyway. They would both be up there, only about 1" from the ball/socket flanges). I always try to cheat off the engineers' test whenever I mess with stuff like that.

Not sure why that's upside down 🤔

Agreed, that's why I asked, it's a fight for clearance in that area.

If I had to guess, I'd say they are about 4.5" in diameter and about 8" long.

It scratched the piss out of the roof, but at least I didn't have to lay on the ground.

Equal length non-res sounds great with the correct setup, that's why its very important you do your research or ask a trusted vendor before placing an order

not clear if either poster who said it sounds terrible have a DP.

I find DPs sound and smell terrible. Unfortunately because they are cheap everyone buys them.

You should probably clarify that you are running DPs. Non-res + DPs is a known no-no

i know this has been said a ton of times but im still trying to decide on keeping my dps stock and just putting on res midpipe only or do catless and res midpipe.

i wanted catless dps for stage 2 but can consider keeping dps stock if res midpipe alone sounds better.
