Crank Hub Install - Anybody Interesting in Helping?

I'm in the process of ordering parts and tools for a crank hub upgrade. Planning to use the SST 4pin hub. I have a lift and plenty of tools. I've done rod bearings on a e39 M5 and two e90 M3s and a few motor swaps in other cars. I'll be learning my way through this job so if you'd like to lend a hand to learn or teach let me know! I'll buy the beer.

Still planning it out to make sure I have everything. Probably a few weeks out. I'll keep you posted.

Where are you located? Definitely a novice but I did my best helping my buddy after he spun his crank hub on his N54

I'm in Annapolis, MD. I'm certainly no pro but I'm dumb enough to try! I was going to buy a 4pin hub from a member but wasn't able to get ahold of the template for drilling.

Leaning more towards the v2 splined hub now due to simplicity and power goals.

This is just the very easy cbc. We are talking about the crankhub upgrade itself

I am local to you and would be willing to lend a hand. Never did one but did a complete engine build and drivetrain swap in a project car. Lift is at your house I assume?

After thinking about it and reading more, I've decided to just go with the crank hub capture and skip the whole solution for the time being. I don't have aspirations for major HP and I feel pretty safe on BM3 S1. Thanks everyone for offering to help. If it spins, I'll be doing the whole thing!

Yes, I did it myself a few weeks ago. Wasn't a fun job but it really wasn't too bad because I was doing plugs at the same time.
