Pandemic buy CS steering wheel

So I got this wheel off another forum member, installed it today. I have pretty big hands and was underwhelmed by the fact the M3 steering wheel was so thin. I had a F10 M5 wheel on my 5er, that felt good. So upgraded to this CS wheel and it feels awesome. It's well worth the upgrade!

Yeah, I'm a tiny bit bummed that the M Performance steering wheel I have is ever so slightly thinner than I'd like. But I got it for more than half the price of the CS version so there's that lol.

I love the CS wheel! It's the perfect thicccness. I had it in my previous F80 and the only issue that I had was it felt weird on my hands during the winter months (I'm prone to dry hands). Looks great!

I just realized it looks very grey in the pictures. It’s very close to dark grey to black in person

Is this wheel really that much thicker than the M performance wheel? Maybe it's time for a switch....would be curious to know the exact diameter

Many things, but unsure about doing them. Tune but this site has me scared shitless about the crank hub issue, this car has plenty of power for now. I’ve done the GTS tranny n CS EDC tune, AA exhaust tips ceramic painted black, OEM carbon rear spoiler n diffuser, OEM carbon mirror caps. Probably a lightweight front lip, but I live in the hills and my driveway is very steep, so there’s that issue. I would guess rims would be next with a slight drop.

It looks really great. I am considering this as my next mod.

Does it seem out of place without other alcantara bits? And Do you plan to add more alcantara parts inside?

I had an e46 comp and the only alcantara part was the wheel and it still looked fine. I am curious what you think now that you installed it.

Keca10, I thought it would look weird but I actually prefer it without the rest of the All antra bits. Wanted to keep it subtle, I think it looks fine.

That’s good news. In the pictures it looks great. And more importantly I bet it feels better to drive.

I don’t track this car much, maybe once in a while. I just want a clean look with a bit thicker feel to it. I don’t have much use for the carbon wheel with shift lights. I guess it just comes down to personal preference.
