Essentially you're rotating it towards the center slightly while holding the fin flush to the wheel arch.

Were yours pre-drilled?
Yes, all pre-drilled

Makes sense, maybe I'll adjust next time I work on the car. Thanks for the advice!

Noticed a lot of people having fitment issues because of the pre-drilled holes. Mine had the holes marked but not drilled. After drilling it while holding it to my car, all the pre-marked holes were pretty off.

I would recommend everyone to ignore the pre-drilled holes if they want the best fitment. This applies to all the shipped from China front lips, side skirts and diffusers. US vendors usually have these problems sorted out, at a hefty premium

Update from my initial review, the replacement high kick spoiler arrived within a week from China and the spoiler is completely different. The under side is real carbon fiber as well whereas before was simply black fiberglass. This was a completely different product, did not need to bend or force anything down, it just sat on my trunk perfectly. If I used betalink the gap would have been non-existent, but this is already a 10/10 in my books.

Finish: 10/10
Fit: 10/10
Difficulty: 0/10

Came with "3M" double sided tape, had to manually line it on the top and bottom edges.

Some douche canoe keyed my car on New Year's Eve, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone while my car was in the shop. Picked up these CF M style side skirt extensions from Extreme Online Store. They have them on Ebay also but I just ordered off their site. 330+tax, free shipping. Their service is superb, they shipped out same day I made payment. Had them sent straight to the shop, just got it back yesterday. Extremely happy with the purchase.

Does anyone else have this gap between the center and side extensions? It is pretty much the same size gap on both left and right sides.

Overall the rest of the fitment is spot on and I'm still happy with it as long as I don't stare at this gap too much lol

But if others have the same issue then it would make me feel a bit better
Yea the same

Got the CS spoiler from 'eurokingdom' as per recommendations here. Fit is almost perfect, a 9/10. spoiler came packaged perfectly, layers of bubble wrap and a shipping box that won't crumble with weight.

preciously to the eurokingdom spoiler I bought a much cheaper, $80 one which turned out to be a complete nightmare. waiting for my PayPal dispute to finish before blasting the seller here.

The 3 piece diffusers from China have the rear spats with weave patterns that do not match. Right side spat is parallel and left spat is semi vertical. It sticks out like a sore thumb to me so I didn’t install it. Carbon is also super flimsy and thin, you know when you drill through it.

But, I ordered one to see if I wanted to pay 1500 for a Vorstiener one or not. Granted the vorstiener one would have a consistent weave, the diffuser itself is a giant water and road grime retainer. Unless you drill holes in the bottom. The diffuser itself also makes contact with muffler and burns/smells, makes rattling noises.
Some people just have to have, “the look’though. I’m on a authentic m perf diffuser now. Flawless weave, does not fade, zero regrets buying it used. Check back in about 10 months with the China crap it doesn’t last or resist the elements. Things to consider since everyone keeps asking here how they stack up.

6 months or less until it starts to degrade at the seam. Can tell by the extremely aggressive top and back angle where they meet. There'a reason why all genuine spoilers have a soft edge

Well let's hope not... but if it does I'm glad I got it for half the price of the exact same one I would have bought from a US vendor.

Has anyone jumped on the GTS style metal hoods on ebay? I'm not wild about fiberglass structurally.

Example 1

Example 2

EDIT: Looks like several people already asked the question in this thread. Whoops.

Read the post and look at the picture again. it wasn't taped down, and there is still packaging wrap on the spoiler.

Mines been on 18 months / 20k miles with no issues. Looks like the day I put it on It's not as high-tail as that, but still fairly sharp:

I am actually holding out on this. I really want a GTS one, but cant stomach issues with panel gaps so am super nervous about replacing the stock one.

F87 here. Does anyone know if the m performance steering wheel on the m3/m4 is the same as on the m2? I'm considering getting this as someone here (eyeamgrewt) got it and Stated the install is 10/10. My stock m performance steering wheel looks exactly like his without the CF trim. Thanks 🙏

I was going to do it, but it seems to be somewhat high risk. Not because the hood might not fit, but because in order to get the paint right, you have the blend the fenders and bumper. At that point, you can't go back to stock without painting again. Local high-end paint shop quoted me $2k, which I'm not going to do on a $1k hood that might not fit 100%.

I'm tempted to find a smaller shop that would just paint the hood -- anyone do this?
