What power supply to use for iDrive 6 flash?

I am going to upgrade my 2016 M4's iDrive 4 to 6 (with CarPlay) with EasyBimmercoding.
The remote-coding installation requires a battery charger/powersupply and I'm having trouble determining which one to use for the Lithium battery in the M4. I ordered this Schumacher charger 30 amp, since EasyBimmerCoding requires at least 15 amps (I've seen different info around), but it turns out it's not compatible with Lithium.
I found this article about the best PSU's for coding, but even the most affordable option (CTEK PRO25S), at $525, is well above budget. They all look to be for professional use and overkill for the task at hand.

So, for those who have done this flash is there a power supply for Lithium batteries that you would recommend that's more reasonably priced? has to be 15 amps minimum.

Alternatively, is there anyone in the Northern/Central NJ area that I could borrow one from for an afternoon?

Thanks for your help!

I've trusted and relied on CTEK for years without any issues. It's just over $100 and you don't need anything else:

Thanks. Interesting. That charger says lead acid and GEL but not Lithium. It is also low amperage (4). The task at hand requires an hour or so of flashing via remote session and hence the need for 15 amp unit.

I have this one and have used it while coding, flashing, burping the cooling system etc

Same thing as Ctek, slightly less expensive. Does Lithium batteries.

@Kilabyte TractionControlDelete thanks for the info. These look to be 4 and 5 amps respectively. Easybimmercode calls for at least 10 but preferably 15 since the process takes a while (about an hour to 90 mins). Have you used these units for a similar purpose and/or time?

Yes, I used it when he was coding the car, no worries, it's not like your battery is dead.

I totally get where you're coming from. You should do what you feel comfortable with of course, but I've done multiple tunes, fullscreen apple carplay, and idrive updates using this particular charger without issue. Just figured I'd share 💪

Closing the loop on this one in case it helps others: I found this thread and a video showing a suitable 10A charger. I had the easybimmercode i4 to I6/CP flash done last night and it's great!! 👍

For all those wanting full screen apple carplay... https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1563454
