Dinan Midpipe vs others

I have been researching midpipes was wondering if anyone on here had had experience with the Dinan midpipe?

I know most people get AA equal length for the midpipe but was curious as to how dinans sounds?
I want to theme my car like all Dinan parts or all AA parts ETC.

Thank you!

I have the dinan midpipe and muffler. It has a louder, deeper tone than stock. Still has the same characteristics as the stock exhaust system, just with a deeper tone.

I havent heard the AA equal length midpipe in person but i suspect the exhaust sounds faster when going through the rpm. Kinda like a light weight flywheel. You get a sense of acceleration from the sound whereas the stock style sounds sluggish but both styles have no performance difference.

I think the answer depends on if you're going to do catless downpipes. I have the vrsf catless dp, AA single midpipe, and MPE. The sound is great with no rasp. I think the AA equal length changes the overall tone of the S55 way too much.

I'd love to do catless downpipes but they do emissions tests where I live and it would be a pain to have to go back to stock everytime I have to get a test.

But the VRSF, AA Midpipe, MPE or Remus combo sounds so good.

+1

The OEM unequal midpipe sounds like garbage which is why resonator deletes and downpipes with Oem exhaust sound so raspy and lawn mowery.

Single midpipe cleans up the noise real nice. S55 character with minimal rasp and an animalistic tone.

Equal length is ehhhhhh to me. Sounds like a generic inline 6. Not a bad noise though but I'm just a bigger fan of single.

AA Mid removes the secondary cats and DINAN retains it. so if emissions is important to you go with DINAN. I have DINAN can mated to the AA single mid and I love the sound and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Is there a video with just the Dinan mid pipe with the stock muffler? Everything I’ve found so far is the Dinan mid pipe and the muffler.

That is all I could find as well. I'd be curious to what it sounds like with Stock muffler.

I have the Dinan midpipe and exhaust on my 18' ZCP. I thought it was a definite improvement over stock, the sound doesn't quite come across over a video in my opinion though.

Do you have a video you could share? And does it help with rasp?
