Bavsound Ghost 2 ohm or 8 ohm?

Looking for a plug and play upgrade for my HK audio in my 2018 M3 and saw that Bavsound now recommends a 2 Ohm sub instead of 8 Ohm which everyone else on this forum seems to be using.

Any reason why they might have switched from 8 to 2 or did BMW change the system mid-cycle? My car was made late 2018.

Website was wrong. They confirmed 8 ohm.

Does anyone know if integral audio is still in business? I tried to reach out about their sound system but no answer.

Kevin tells me he is in the process of closing IA. Selling off existing stock and not developing anything new. I can further inform he has no more bass boxes.

It depends on series , F80 / F30 is 8 ohm on HK so the answer is 8 ohms. But easy enough to confirm with a cheap multi meter. Mine measured 7.x ohms across the voicecoils so effectively 8 ohm.
