Uniden R3 where to mount in 18' M3

Where is everyone mounting their Uniden R3 & what is exactly needed ? I know there are some threads already but they are not up to date

I used blendmount to mount it directly below the mirror

I also used BlendMount right below rearview mirror. Looks good.

2018 M3 here...Uniden R3 with Blendmount. Just go on their website

I just mounted it right above the rear view mirror. Didn't feel like spending the money for a blendmount. I used this to hardwire it:
