MPSS vs winter tires in Houston?
I'm wondering what people do for the few months of "cold" each year.
I know the stock MPSS' are strictly summer tires, but considering it only dropped below 40° like two days last year...do I really need all-seasons/winters + another set of wheels since nothing fits on the 20" 666m'? Last edited by ImagineAllTheMs; 12-06-2019 at 10:11 PM.. |

I live in upstate NY, and my first M3 driving experience ever was last January at a dealer test drive on a 30 degree day, in a 2018 F80 ZCP (I believe PSS's)....so yeah, I'd say you'll be ok in Houston, TX

Same as above....MPSS's are just fine in Houston. My modded Z06 ran PSS's for daily duty and I never had an issue. Tire's take a bit longer to warm up but are still more than adequate.
