What kind of deals are you getting on M3s right now?

I've seen anything from 6 to just over 8k off MSRP (~81k) but curious to see if anyone is doing any better.

Sounds about right. Depends where are you at. Was able to get $10k off last Dec on a $81k ZCP. Gonna wait and see what next month bring.

That's a great deal. Did that include lease cash or anything like that? I know they were giving 3k in lease cash a couple months ago which they stopped. Every dealer I spoke to said they're unlikely to bring it back once they stop especially since they stopped production.

This is what I got in September: 2018 AW/SO F80 w/ Exec, black kidney grilles and CF rear spoiler. 77K sticker. I financed.

3k loyalty
1k student grad
3.5k dealer discount
dealer made remaining payments on my lease - 2.5k

Overall don't think I can complain...just got stuck with 4.19 % financing from BMW FS.

I'm gonna wait till mid to end December and see what's up.

If I can find a deal for $15k off a F80 next month I'll definitely consider it.

Is there much difference buying heavily discounted new vs a slightly used one? I think the slightly used could shave off a further $10k. A $15k off msrp on a new m3/4 will be a very good deal.

That's fine but if you come across a spec you really like I wouldn't think about it too long. Most dealers in my area have very few/no M3s left and most of them are the base models with the standard 18 wheels.

Nationally there are a ton of them sitting in every spec. Aiming to get 12-15k on a 80k+ car wouldn't be as crazy as it sounds.

Getting a lightly used one would be the most economical decision for sure. But the new car smell brings a satisfaction like no other.

Complete opposite in my area. I checked and there are at least 20+ competition pack M3's within a 5 hour driving distance of me. One dealership alone has about 10+ M3's just sitting.

Agreed. I have a feeling during the last couple weeks of this year these salesmen will be willing to deal just to get them off the lots.

just my personal opinion but residuals are going to remain at 57% for 10k miles; therefore, dealers will be forced to offer larger discounts. However, i'm not sure it will be enough to score a mid 8's M3 for a tick or two above a stripper. Also, seems like BMW has offered maximum incentives of 3k + 1k loyalty. MF of .00186? is not helping either.

Also, i'm not sure that demand has settled down either... Again just my personal feeling. if I was in the market for a M3 then I would be looking at swapalease.

Local dealers show $7500 discount on leftover brand new M3s right now on their websites. So if that before incentives, not bad; cause I am sure there is some wiggle room with that $700 discount.

Markets have gone to $hit, real estate is under so much pressure, rates keep rising - I'm not sure if this is a good time for BMW to keep low residuals unless they want to hold onto these cars sitting on the lots for much longer. With the new 340i touted performance, they better quickly move the 2018 M3s. The new 340i is to the F80 M3 what the F90 M550i was to my F10 M5 - pushing the perf envelope farther. I'm also in the market wanting an F80 M3 at a good price.

Advertised prices are almost NEVER "before" incentives. In fact, most advertised prices are with any and all incentives (sometimes even incentives they know everyone wont qualify for, like college grad, or military discount, etc.

I still dont see a fire sale happening on M3s . Mabye 6 months from now, one will be able to get 15k discounts on it.

Man, I'm glad I bought last winter.

I got a 78,500 MSRP down to 73,500 and then I got 7,500 incentives on an ordered car.

Yeah end of 2017 deals were had... myself included. Don't see getting anywhere near those anytime soon.
