New owner - to tender or not to tender? That is the question
Hi all
Traded in my 2014 F32 and moved into a 2018 F82. Couldn’t be happier. My F32 (and my e90 before that) were ALWAYS on a battery tender at home. I’ve read that the lithium batteries in the F8x series are pretty robust, but I’m facing a harsh winter (Canadian prairies) and would like to get a sense of what others are doing (and which brands). For instance, anyone have their Noco tenders hold up nicely or is the Ctek lithium version still the one to beat. I’ve read through the posts here already, but just looking for more current wisdom and experience. Thanks in advance. David |

agree: CTek, plus permanently installed pigtail & eight foot extension that reaches the charger screwed to the wall. year round the car goes on the tender whenever it won't be driven for four days or more, but while temps are below 30f that's two days or more.
