Price Quote for 2018 M3

I need HELP. Is this a good deal? any comment is greatly appreciated.

Vehicle Price: $76,395
discount: $4,000
Selling price: $72,395
out the door price: $79,962.93
36 months/10k lease
Residual $43,545
Total Rebate $6k

$2k out of pocket: $1020 per month

With all those discount and rebates, the Monthly still over $1k. I am confuse.

If selling price is 72,395 and out the door price is 79,962 what makes up the difference?
you said discount is 4K but rebate is 6K . . . where is the other 2K coming from?

People are getting 12-15% off MSRP. That's not a good deal at all. There is so much inventory.

The out the door price is include tax and registration. i think that is before the $6k rebates.
To be honest i am don't understand all these inside numbers.
When i look at it, i got confuse too. That why i ask in the forum.

Find what color and options you want then do a nationwide search. Email/call those dealers and tell them you are getting a large discount from other dealers and looking for something in the 12%+ range. There will be dealers that will bite.

Lease prices have changed though. Residuals are now much lower and lease interest rates (aka MF) is higher than a couple of years ago.

Your best bet would be to pick up a slightly used 18 or lease take over. There are really good deals to be had as many people are seeing no movement on getting rid of their cars. Check the classifieds.

Not a great deal, back in September I got 6,500 off of my M3 before any incentives were applied. With incentives I got another 4,500 after dealer discount. Now I realize that those incentives are gone but you should be able to secure a greater dealer discount. Keep looking and you will find a better deal, I was lucky enough to find my car and deal very quickly between 4 dealerships that had cars I was interested in. I am sure you can do better than what you have been able to negotiate so far. I highly suggest you give it another try at finding something better for you.

On left over M3s, residuals and the MF won't be getting any better at all, only worse. Rebate cash might increase a bit, but probably not offset a residual or MF change.

8 months ago I picked up a 2018 M3 ZCP that I custom ordered from a dealer... $74.5k MSRP = $2k down + $789/mo all in....so no, I def wouldn't want the 'deal' you are questioning

8 months ago in April the M3 lease rates were

April 18
.00156 and 61% for 10K
$3000 lease credit
$750 loyalty

Currently right now they are

December 18
.00181 and 57% for 10K
no lease credit
$750 loyalty

The lease terms are so vastly different you cannot compare deals from even a few months ago, to today. Sadly M3/4 leasing in down the drain right now.

I hear what you're saying...but it's still the same car...regardless of the rate changes, I wouldn't get one at that "deal" [OP] personally... I waiting months, and was patient. I had plenty of offers for my build similar to OPs

i dont think you're understanding. the only thing that is relevant is how much dealer discount before any incentives or rebates. that fact that the MF and residuals were much better isn't relevant. they arent going to get any better and the M3 has stopped production so waiting doesnt make sense either. i ended up purchasing because the lease rate was terrible

Hi!

New member here. I'm in the market myself and on a similar priced M3 (MSRP $77k), was quoted $69k. Before incentives. Lease was about $1050. Seems like a bad time to jump into an M vehicle.

I would try to explain it to you but you seem to lack basic financial sense.
