Thanks for the additional info and comparisons.
This car is a 2016, under 11k miles, above listed options & one owner. I intentionally have not driven it. I'm sure I'd fall in love at the first stoplight. Last edited by 2016M4DVR; 09-15-2018 at 12:12 PM.. |

Will contact local dealer once the storm passes and get service history.
I would like to post it for feedback. I want to honestly represent the car. My FIL was organized and meticulous, doubt there are any missed service issues. I have considered bringatrailer as the "M" cars seem to do pretty well there. Assuming they will "accept" my submission with a reserve. Thanks again for help and information. |

Convertible season is coming to an end this year. You should list this car ASAP if you want top dollar. No one is going to be looking for a convertible in the fall and winter.

^That may have been more true during the ragtop era, but this is more an all season coupe that has the added bonus of a folding top!

This is very low priority.
I'm going to get the records, in service date and date it becomes ineligible for extending the warranty in the not too distant future. I put the proper battery monitor/charger on it, car is stored safely out of the weather and sunlight. Should it depreciate considerably, we will deal with it. I appreciate the insight and opinions. I'll be putting this car on the market shortly after Christmas.
Still garage kept with ~11k miles. Location will be Columbia, SC (it's in Charleston now) I'll post up pics after it's detailed. Hopefully, y'all will be kind enough to help me determine a reasonable asking price for both parties. Thanks for reading |

You know the history, low mileage, well equipped, a solid car overall. If you're into cars like this and can swing the #'s, you could do much worse than dailying a loaded F83 for 45 grand or so.

I would love it. MIL and wife want it to go away. Makes them sad. Not sure I can explain it any better but I'll do what they want. So, it will be sold. |

Was in a similar situation, my mother passed away 2 years ago and we had to sell her 335is convertible. We did it last month via Carvana. Considered listing privately for more money, but ultimately figured it was not worth the time and hassle. Carvana gave us a fair deal based on KBB value. If you are in their zone, they will even come to your home to pick up the car. We were just outside of their radius so we drove a few miles to meet the truck at a parking lot. Signed the paperwork, they handed over a check, done in less than 15 minutes. Would gladly accept less money again to sell a car so easily.

My plan is to go to the dealer and get the records. While I'm there I'll speak to the general mgr. I've been told they often have people waiting on these. This one was adult driven, never tracked and garage kept. I'll post pics once detailed here. Would love to sell it to an enthusiast at a fair price. After a few days if there is no interest, I'll try BAT. |
