Exhaust sound check

Greetings,

I recently upgraded to an M4 from the previous generation M3. Loving the car so far and looking to perhaps go with a sportier exhaust.

That said, if anyone with a upgraded exhaust is willing to meet for a quick sound check - that would be much appreciated!

Cheers

I have an AA midpipe with a stock rear that I wouldn't mind meeting up and showing you.

ZCP without downpipes, AA mid, stock zcp rear.

Non ZCP, ER Downpipes, AA mid, stock rear. Cold start and valves open up around the 27s mark.

Some highway pulls but the audio is bleh... exhaust peaked the mic out. Just too loud.

Incase you are considering downpipes. Here's DP only...stock exhaust.

I have an AWE track exhaust you're welcome to hear. Coming from an E92 M3 with OEM exhaust mod, the AWE track exhaust is the only aftermarket exhaust I like for the F8X platform.

Does the Awe track exhaust sound loud in every driving mode. I heard this exhaust is really loud. I want to get it but don't want to disturb the neighbors in the morning when I leave.

Yup, sounds the same in every drive mode. It's super fucking loud; I honestly thought I had made a mistake when I had it installed and drove it home. However, after getting used to it, I love it and couldn't imagine my car without it.

This isn't my daily car though. Strictly weekends and days I am late to the office. The wife doesn't mind the noise in cabin either!

If anyone is looking for a low mileage and priced M Performance exhaust, let me know. Selling it for 3800. Has less than 2500 miles and CF tips.

Seen your FS thread. Did you end up repairing yours or you got a replacement under warranty and are now selling that?

Replacement is on its way, should have been ready last week but still nothing from BMW of Sterling. It's being replaced under warranty and selling that one.

Bumping an old thread. Mr. Luc was kind enough to meet and showcase his track AWE. Also if anyone is tuned - would like to check that out as I'm going that route in spring. Thanks

Which tuning are you looking to go for? Seems like there are variety of choices available !
