Replacement/upgraded charge pipes
Hi are these worth buying especially with mapped cars?

I've looked at charge pipes before Steve, and discussed with my lad. There's no doubt metal (or re enforced silicone) charge pipes are unlikely to crack.
However, failure of the standard ones is few & far between, weather or not any performance enhancements have been carried out. So his advice was don't bother. If they crack/split, they'll be replaced under warranty. Once out of warranty, if they break, get the strong ones. Made sense to me so haven't bothered. Had no issues with my standard charge pipes to date...

Cool. You'll love it! Be mighty careful with your right foot in this weather though!

I know someone with these plus other additional cooling on his car, but he's a serious track junkie. Way OTT for me but they looked good though...

Not planning anything further at this stage. I'll buy some different pads to put in for track days, but that'll be it whilst I still have the Boxster. I'll get some proper track days tyres and bucket seats/harness for that.
And here is the pic of the engine bay of that car, couldn't get it to post last night. If you look closely you'll see quite a lot has been changed!

I can't see me doing any of this stuff for a good few years as I've still got 31 months warranty!
